About this talk. In this 22-minute session following a long life initiation, Lama Zopa Rinpoche dedicates the accumulated merit on behalf of all present. He explains that the initiation addresses life obstacles and serves the purpose of developing good heart, learning Dharma, and benefiting sentient beings. The dedication work comprises the heart of the teaching: merit is dedicated so that bodhicitta arises in all beings, from world leaders to those who cause harm; so that all who encounter him—through sight, touch, memory, or dream—are protected from lower realms and freed from sickness; and so that the Dharma spreads swiftly throughout the world. He then discusses the purification power of mantras and relics enshrined in a stupa, particularly the four-power mantras that can purify even the heaviest karma.

Having finished offering the profound long life initiation, they call the Linga Lama’s tradition, the the long life initiation of the close lineage, the particular close lineage, the tradition. Close lineage or the blessing. So then often often men don’t think. So I’m happy to do the so I’m happy to do the long life the long life type initiation Because here, imagine who who who planned who planned this this visit here in Hao Lin. So she planned last time, you know, but I had to go to the but but I had to I had to run to Dharamsala.
So it didn’t happen. So then so imagine it’s long life initiation. It’s a life obstacle. So there might be similar among you. There there may be similar other people that who has life obstacles need long life initiation.
Therefore I’m happy to do this initiation. So the purpose is to purpose is to practice good heart and and to learn Dharma and to benefit other sentient beings. To serve others. So they find worthwhile to the initiation. So that so that’s it.
Do all the dedication and that’s correct, not, correct by this. May the bodhicitta be generated from the heart and the heart of all those sitting here, all of us, that lead the path, in the hearts of everyone in this world and the hearts of all the leaders, and then the hearts of all the terrorists, all the people who have which is taught to harm others, to may bodhicitta arise in their heart. And may they be in Christchurch. All the holy beings who are in this world only to benefit all sentient beings and then then, you know, then our principal with compassion, the human emanation of Dalai Lama to have stable health, all the holy wishes ripen immediately and all the virtuous friends. All my virtuous friends, may they stabilize all the holy wishes, ripen immediately.
Yeah. What’s that? Merits dedicate them. Merits collected by meditation. Merits collected by others.
Oh. Then Many may anybody who see me touch me remember me thinking about me, dreams of me, or the criticize of praise. Even they see one’s own portrait. Just by that, mainly by that, may they never ever get born in lower realms.
May they immediately be freed from all the sickness, spirit harm, and karma. Find the rich Dharma karma. Find faith in Buddhism, the rich karma. And and extra bodhicitta, may all the wishes be successfully completed immediately. Expand the Dharma.
And may the teaching spread as quick as possible. And in any sentient being any sentient being that I see, sick or hurt, sick, may their sickness immediately get recovered. And then, actually, bodhicitta. And may anybody I hear died, see or hear died, may they may they be born immediately in a Pure Land in Buddha where they can be enlightened. That which exists but is empty.
May I, the I who exists but is empty. Achieve that Tārā’s enlightenment in the mother of all the Buddhas, the Tārā’s liberating mother Tārā’s enlightenment, which exist but which is empty. Generally, the particular lama’s teaching may be spreading all the time, may it first ripen in this world by a complete rise of the Dharma and in hearts of all of us and in the hearts of all the, let’s say, the the students in this in this world. Mhmm. Without delay in a second.
So one one you have circumambulated already the the relics, but the most but the highest relics inside the stupa are the mantras, the four power mantra. That is so powerful for purification. I think you have mentioned already. Right? You have told her benefits.
So so the other thing is just with this mantras, just touch. It is power to purify the near endless karma. We killed father, mother, harmed Buddha, killed arhat, you know, caused this. They purified it. Then no question about action.
So so it’s also good to get a blessing and to touch on the head. Okay. So as you come through then, then take this is a good given by Serlingpa Lama, this is the one from Lama Atisha who brought Buddhism purely to Tibet. So and now the stupa all over the world benefits so much. So many beings become enlightened from that is the lama Atisha.
That’s right. So that one is a Nāgārjuna’s relic. Nāgārjuna. Okay? Who propagated Yeah.
Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. Oh, thank you very much.
Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you.
