So this first session will introduce you to the life of Śākyamūni Buddha, looking at how the Buddha’s life exemplifies the search for the answers to life’s big questions and finding the answers. We’ll discuss briefly beginning to look at the four noble truths, which is the first teaching the Buddha ever gave. I’ll explain a brief history of Buddhism and also introduce the seven point meditation posture, Beginning to get into meditation and also doing an exercise.
