About this talk. This 10.9-minute teaching explores a practical question central to Chenrezig preliminary practice: how much visualization power do you need? Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen explains that clearer visualization combined with quality materials enhances practice power, then offers graduated options for different capacities: the complete Lama Chöpa merit field; the 100 deities of Tuśita with Lama Tsongkhapa; or simply your own teacher. The core addresses mandala offering’s four levels—outer (offering the cosmos), inner (offering your body and constituents), secret (in the wisdom aspect), and suchness (recognizing the emptiness of offerer, offering, and recipient)—with application to daily practices like Guru Puja. For practitioners engaged in Chenrezig preliminaries.

Sister Donna. My My name is one one’s power of thinking of mind visualization, meaning, and I accidentally think that we’re excellent, like material is very good, that is good. On top of that, if one has more visualization power, then that makes it more powerful, much better. If the material is great and big and on top of that once visualization is great, then both makes the whole thing great. Possible one should visualize like the Lama Chöpa merit field and if not, then more easily is the visualization in accordance to the text called a 100 deities of Tuśita where there’s Lama Tsongkhapa with his two disciples.

If not, then they if you can’t do that, then you can visualize one’s Lama only, but still thinking that he embodies all other objects, and that’s the best one. But if possible, once you think the whole extent of space is filled with all these objects and all of them, that is the best one. Yes. In the mandala, there are different types like outer mandala offering, which is as explained, and then inner mandala offering, sacred mandala offering, and suchness mandala offering. And if one is going to do the inner mandala offering, then it is like.

All these suffering of the external four continents with the subcontinents with the king of the mountain in the center, all these being offered in visualization makes the outer offering of the mandala and inner offering of the mandala is one visualized, one aggregates, one’s constituents, one’s sense basis being offered. So that is the inner mandala offering and then one so that being in inner mandala offering, that being in the aspect of the wisdom, that being in the aspect of the wisdom is the inner mandala offering all these parts of one’s body being offered as in the aspect of the wisdoms and then one visualize all these things which one offers within the aspect of the great bliss wisdom is the secret mandala offering. And then thinking that the object to whom one offers the mandala, by whom one offers and the very act of offering mandala. All these in truth are non existent. Thinking that way makes the mandala offering of the suchness mandala offering.

If one is offering normally in accordance to one’s daily practice like the Guru Puja of the Chakrasamvara where one starts the visualization or mandala offering versus with Parama Vishuddha Shasila. The perfectly beautiful skin which is the base, golden base. And on top of that, one goes on the whole thing which lies in one whole body being offered into these different aspects of the cosmology like the two eyes being offered in the aspect of sun and moon. So this one can recite as in accordance to the text. It’s alright to recite.

So it’s alright to think about the meaning of the words and then make the offering.
