Pray, Maitreya, sees the spiritual masters, deities, and doctrine protectors, with the power of profound and dependent arising, and may an emptiness of all that appears, and may the hopes of our prayers with effortless ease spontaneously be fulfilled. A friend, enchanting mother like a brilliant snow mountain, and the shining consummation of signs and marks, who, when seen, captivates minds, who, when heard, swiftly soothes our hearts.

Removing cold, protects from all fierce untimely. Every river of life force, grant, we will grant that all merry be auspicious. Lord of Dharma, who only calls us to the dispositions of those who leads to you, makes clear in the light of your well spoken advice, the sacred Ganden tradition, the essence of Buddha’s teachings. To the foremost and holy lama, to you who are supreme, we make this prayer of supplication. Venerable one, to you, kindest of all conquerors for those wandering in far off places, especially the west.

Be mindful of your loving concern for us and intentionally descending again into a family of a far off land. We make this request, the Lama. Please, please, be long, complete, holy scholar, protector of Sūtra and Tantra, holy, spiritual, friend, the foundation of our unwavering constant devotion, profoundly skilled methods leading us along the fortunate path of liberation, unfolding within us all that is moral, warm, and wise. Master the entire doctrine, having crossed the furthermost shore of the vast ocean of Sūtra and Tantra, observing ethics as the foundation of practice since the heart of teaching conscientiously following Vinaya. Allow me, please, please sit long.

Have a pure prayer and karma without ever being separated from our supreme karmic lama, and rejoicefully guard us, your children, your cycles throughout infinite lives. For us, may you negate our holy obstacles, be wholly satisfied. Your spiritual and protect us, bless us, help us so we may accomplish the ultimate meaning of our human striving and listening, reflecting, and meditating as much as we are able. We may agree to utter inner golden age, and all the while, may I always remember from the depths of our hearts loving kindness on our lips. And then in Tibetan.
