About this talk. In this nearly 3-hour teaching, Lama Zopa Rinpoche begins with the extraordinary rarity of a human rebirth qualified to practice Dharma, illustrated through vivid examples: a blind turtle from the ocean depths emerging once every hundred years through a floating ring, mustard seeds balanced on a needle’s tip, stars visible in daylight. He then teaches “taking the essence” of this rare birth across three progressive levels—building good rebirth through virtue, achieving liberation through the higher trainings, and attaining enlightenment through bodhicitta and the six perfections. The session shifts into sadhana practice: generating bodhicitta for all suffering beings, mantra recitation from the Hundred and Eight Names of Siddhagapa, karma purification, and dedication prayers. The final section clarifies virtue and non-virtue philosophically, with stories showing how compassionate action rooted in pure motivation—even if harsh—accumulates merit and accelerates the path to enlightenment. Suited to serious practitioners of deity yoga and the Lamrim path.

Yeah. K. So next one is Because thinking that meaning then the virtuous ones, Buddhas, said Buddha said, Victorious Buddha. Buddha said, Even with Even with many examples that gives understanding the meaning. The total snake gets through the center of the ring, wooden ring.

Something they put on the neck. That moved on the that that extremely moves on the great ocean. And the bean bean is still over the glasshouse. Seeing stars in the blue sky. In the blue sky, daytime daytime blue sky, same star.

Mustard seeds abiding on the tip of the needle and so forth. Even with this many examples, given understanding the meaning, so this should come later, That this body qualified freedom richness more rare. More rare. Okay. So, as many of you might heard already from mathematicians that the blind the turtle is blind.

Not from the bottom of the ocean can see where the wooden ring is, not that you see. Blind, eyes blind. And it comes up not often, comes up only after each hundred years. Only after each hundred years. Doesn’t come up again, again, you see.

Then the wooden ring, here it is wooden, but I think some text maybe golden ring. Golden ring as well, of course, normally when you don’t stay on the water, you see, extremely well stay on the water. So, that signifies the, know, very pure teaching of the Buddha. So, here, this text is the Buddha Rin, the Buddha Rin doesn’t stay in one place. If it stays in only one place, then it’s easy.

But it moves around with the waves of the ocean, strong waves of the ocean, goes over. So therefore, it is extremely difficult. The blind total comes on up to each hundred after each hundred year and able to go able to go through the wooden ring. Extremely rare. You see?

Almost like it’s almost impossible. Almost impossible to happen there. So the this so this perfect perfect human rebirth, you see, this this human rebirth that we have at this time, qualified to free at Freedom of Transition is even more difficult. You know, this is even more difficult than that example. To achieve this, this is more rare.

This is more rare, even that example, a plant turtle ever put the neck through the wooden ring that doesn’t stay on place, moves around also. So that that’s extremely rare, but even this the human body that we have now, qualified for freedom, even this is much more rare. Much more rare. And much more rare. Then also, the when you throw the when you throw beans over the, you know, window glass or something, you know, like you see, like that, you know, on the glass, over the glass.

Not glass down, you know, not glass on the floor, glass glass window window glass or something, you know, glass house or the wall, you know, window. You see, it doesn’t stay there. So the the that’s extremely that’s extremely difficult to stay there. See? Now even more difficult, no more rare, you see, this the human rebirth the the human rebirth that we have are qualified for the business, you know, that that we are reaching now.

So it’s very much more rare. Then to see the star in blue sky daytime, it’s a while while the sun, see, sunny day, blue sky, you see, very difficult to see that, very difficult to see the star. So even let’s see, much more so rare that they wanna see. Now here, this time, have this impression of my body qualified for afflictive emotion. This one is even more rare.

This is extremely rare. So that’s an example. Then the you put the needle up. You put the needle, you know, the chip the needle up on the ground. Then you throw then you throw mustard seed.

You see, extremely difficult to stay on top on the tube needle. So until now, even more see, this example is a bit you see, I mean, to happen, this is extremely different. Now if to this human body that we human body that we have perfect the body the the air from. And this is even much more rare. Much more rare.

Let’s see. Deep it’s much more rare. Yeah. This so so forth. Then you see many examples like which keeps understanding that this that they understand the meaning of this body’s let’s say, similar rare to to similar rare because this can this can this cannot be achieved again and again because to create a cause is a stimulative say, to create a cause of body.

To create a cause So as I mentioned before, the the cause of each the eighteen qualities, to create a cause of each one. See, to create each cause. So what are missing? You see all the extremely difficult to that. So then this conclusion says, This perfect body, which is extremely difficult to find again, difficult extremely difficult to find.

So like that like that meaning, this perfect body extremely difficult to find through the cause result examples. Is it not true? By the cause, result, and sample. So So what he’s saying? During this this occasion, one has one has received this one has received this should we say this way?

I’ll repeat the translate again. So, like that like like that meaning like that meaning duration. So the. On this this perfect body, which is difficult to find, which is difficult to find, which cause resolved examples. Found just about once.

Found just about once, one time. Are you there to are you there to live the life without taking the meaning of the essence? Do you dare do you dare to live the life without taking the meaning, the essence. So the essence is, you see, the greater part of the lower capable being, you see, then the in order to achieve good rebirth. Next slide.

It should not be reborn. There’s a devil in the body. Then it’s about taking refuge, you see. That’s by taking refuge, the the the project karma and abandon ten ten of virtue, practicing virtues like that, you see, practicing modesty. So that’s taking essence.

You see, they will be able happiness future life, you see. And for that method, the basic taking the refuge of Buddhism and the project and karma, You know what Buddha has advised. Taught to see. So abandon the ten and virtue. Example, a ten and virtue and the practice and virtue, practice and morality.

Okay? Then to be free from saṃsāra, which is nature only nature of suffering totally to be liberated from saṃsāra forever from the saṃsāra and the cause, delusion, karma, then she practice this. So based on the renunciation, then you see the three high training, high training, morality, concentration, wisdom, see. So that the second one taking essence. Then, also, you know, by by leaving by leaving behind the, say, self and then cherish others.

You see? To achieve enlightenment, the person being then see. For for success that didn’t exercise bodhicitta and practices his parameters. The graduate for high capability, see? Seek and light.

So leave see. Now let go of I and change others. Which is for the to to free the sentient beings from the suffering causes, bring up enlightenment. They want seek enlightenment for in order to attain enlightenment then, actually, bodhicitta and the practice, which is parameters like that. So that’s the third taking essence.

So the So he is saying, Are you there to live the life without taking essence? Meaning meaning of life. Essence. Yeah. I didn’t bring the I didn’t bring the text.

No. I don’t have text. Don’t Nothing. Nothing. No.

I have the text. No. No. I have the text. The text.

I have the there. Yeah. Torah, take take this. So we’ll start short. This is this is the short mantra from short mantra from.

The short mantra from. But the the the problem from the initiation and from the other, there’s there’s another one hundred name one hundred and name of. That one mantra is different. So I didn’t bring I didn’t bring here now. So maybe, you know, tonight we’ll start the other one.

Yeah. So we’ll bring we bring all the sentient beings in the heart in the heart. So free all all the, say, hell beings from from the most unimaginable sufferings and the and cause the sufferings and bring the enlightenment by me. It’s by my. And then number is freedom from all the most unimaginable sufferings and cause the enlightenment, freedom of a number of animals from most unenviable suffering that cause the enlightenment by myself alone.

Every animal, every insect, And every human being, then nervous system means every human being, freedom from all the unbearable and then all the cause and bring to enlightenment by. Number six, being freedom from all the most unbearable sovereigns and cause, bringing to enlightenment by myself alone. As soon number seven, from most most unbearable samsaric cause, bring to enlightenment by myself alone, and feed the knowledge into medicine being from others from all the sufferings and the cause. Most miserable suffering caused by myself. Therefore, I must achieve enlightenment.

Therefore, I’m going to therefore, then I need to explore a path. For the success of that, I’m for the success of that, I’m then going to meditation meditation of siddhi kapha. Mhmm. And, also, to be able to offer extensive benefit to sentiments and for the teaching of Buddha. For the all the success, I’m going to mentation and gestation as.

Okay? Then also to fulfill all the wishes immediately. That And then this then to receive all the fundings for the affine of military statue to construct as quick as possible within a complete abiding world and to meet the petition to be most beneficial to the means, to bring the enlightenment as quick as possible, and then all the receive all the or needs all the fundings for all the rest of the projects. Okay? All the the monastery and another reason to preserve the dharma, spread dharma, to to build a various parts of world, social service in various parts of world, and build a whole of the various parts of the world, to bring something to enlighten the Kugis to liberate something with Kugis to bring enlighten the Kugis.

Okay? They know what the standards do for for for and needs and debts, you see, all the projects, you see, all that. Then yeah. Then whatever other particular wishes you have, they think of think of that. And then, generate bodhicitta in the hearts of everyone in this world.

Generate bodhicitta in the hearts of everyone in this world. Okay? Mhmm. And then through that, and the leaders of of the world, and the terrorist, the minded terrorist and the other people who have reached out to harm others, but it should but it’s that we’re doing it in all their heart. So to transform their mind immediately, the most there’s a there’s a most urgency, emergency, you know, emergency to to send the beings in this world to receive to stop receiving harm, bring peace and happiness.

There’s emergency to transform their mind to good heart. bodhicitta. Okay? So for all this, and to bring perfect peace and happiness in this world, I’m going to and then to to the meditation the recitation of siddhagapa. Okay?

Mentor the recitation of siddhagapa. Okay? Yeah. So think everything purified. There’s all the development of karmas collected from beginning of birth, sicknesses, spritum, and they come from correct from beginning of birth.

The development of karmas collected from the and the beginning of the birth were completed, totally, complete purified. And as well as all sentient beings also purified. Significance, spirit, harmony, karma, all the departments. Everything is the same. All the qualities but to ourselves and the in the house of all sentiments.

Dedication. Okay. Then but there’s our there’s Siddhagava extremely pleased that you are that you’re going to dedicate your life to others. Live for others, freedom from all the servants, and of course, that bring to a liberation, enlightenment, especially that. Excuse me, please.

Please, would you and then melt the light. Absorb. Think again, they received all the qualities, whatever is the devil has. Perfect understanding, compassion to all of you, perfect compassion to and perfect power to benefit of all syndromes. Able to perfect towards towards symptoms now.

So feel that. These are the three time ladies. But the others, and then take bodhicitta. bodhicitta in the the heart, most of family members, all the children benefit. Those who give up their lives, those who serve others in their heart, in the hearts of everyone, in the hearts of all the in this world, put it in leaders, all the in the hearts of all the leaders of this world, and then the terrorists, all the people who are which they thought harm others without delaying a second to be generated, put it in the heart.

In those heart, but it’s in the middle of increase. Which particular dedication done this morning? Which particular dedication done this morning? What which particular dedication done? The changes.

Yeah. What? Yeah. But so what sessions? Don’t don’t put your holy hand on the text.

Okay. What is good, bad? It’s not really bad. Okay. The same quality with ourself in all the lifetimes.

Oh, what what May I May I become like only you? Like your holy body, like your lifespan, like your holy address, like your holy name. Myself and the sentient beings were honest to me. Just merely being this world universe, world country, area, place, how May all those living this living that universe, world country, area, place house. May their need have music and purified.

May they find the may immediately find faith in the in the refuge and the karma and may the ex wife immediately. May all the wishes be succeeded immediately. May those who have who are suffering great depression, may they feel with great bliss. May their heart feel with great bliss. May they may those who are suffering like hell, their their relationship problems, may their heart fill with the a lot of kind of compassion and joy.

Complete path in achieving life as good possible. We made those who are suffering of poverty, may they have wealth and Dharma. Poverty of poverty of I mean, the material poverty of Dharma. Mhmm. So those but they have both.

Mhmm. Poverty under poverty of the understanding words, the teachings of Buddha, and the realizations. So they met met those who are looking for guru able to find perfect perfectly qualified mana guru. Those who are looking for teachings receive unmistaken complete teachings, and those who look for the truth, able to find a conducive place and able to achieve all the realization during that time. Mhmm.

And may a war, famine, disease, torture, poverty, sicknesses, dangerous fire, water, earth, all those dangers. And that’s happened. May be stopped immediately. May nobody experience all these things from now on from now on. May nobody in this world experience all those problems.

And we have perfect peace and happiness, ultra close, inner close, in mediation life is good possible. These are the past terms you may have from here, may have little bit of others that which are, say, there which are empty. So which appeared existing from the outside, but which they and but that was just empty would appear from that. Believe it’s true, but it’s but but it was just empty. Made I who appeared truly existing on the existing from the side and believed true, but which is totally nonmistently.

To discover the enlightenment, which appeared existed from the society and believe it’s true, but which totally none exist empty. Lead oldest and the admits who appeared to exist in Parmithorpe’s height, and and that I believe is true, but the historical numbers aren’t empty. By who so appeared existing from the site. Mhmm. And believe it’s true, but it was totally not was nonexistent and empty.

I don’t know what it is. K. Thank you very much. But the two will crack that. No.

But not that. She sister. She used to work as a secretary in the Taipei Center, very, very beginning when Taipei Center started. She was secretary May Yew. She had just just diagnosed with a cyst in the womb or something.

It’s a very big cyst, so she has to go for operation. The one who is not The one who is not nun. Yes. Mhmm. She has two sisters who are not nun.

Yeah. One of them used to work as secretary. Mhmm. And then I think also maybe she will ask her a question and check this more as well about pushes or practices for her to do. Mhmm.

So she has to she see many doctors really and said they have to they all said she has to do operation. Today is ten o’clock, Monday evening, thirteenth of June. Good evening. Tonight, no sleep. One day tomorrow morning.

One day tomorrow morning sleeping. When the sun rises. Then all they sleep, then when night begins, they begin the begin the session. I thought to mention this, another mantra here. This is from Buddha teaching from Kanjur.

The hundreds of the volumes of Buddha teaching Kanjur. So, this is another siddhika mantra. Think it’s similar, maybe. This might be similar, I didn’t check, but in initiation text there’s a different mantra. The one might be similar in the Nishi’s text, but I will say precisely.

Om Sumbane Sumba. Maybe I’ll mention that You want to write down? Are you going to write down on the mind, on the brain, on the Long, long, longer, longer voice. It’s got but this part all goes together. It’s all together.

K? So, is from the mantra from the text, one hundred and eight Name of Mishidagava with the mantra. So, that mantra is this one. So it says here, by granting the quality, the minute this mantra was explained, The holy mandala of the vajra, the tisi, the whole mood, shaped, means what this mantra was given, saying, to the and the assemblies the the assemblies. The destroyer, call of heart, vajra, heaven vajra expressed this.

Don’t know how express it. I don’t know how express this. Said this. Said this. Great fortunate one.

Yes, yes. This Above this earth is extended by you. Your mantra is known, well known in the abhyamthra khyatra. It generates sublime incarnate, It generates unfathomable quality. To say unimaginable quality.

It eliminates the softness of all sentient beings. It stops the device. It mistakes the device. By hearing this mantra, well, one is circling saṃsāra, one get stained by the vices, mistake. Like the like the lotus of the mud, clean, unstained by the mud.

The bodied beings. Anyone who explains this mantra, this secret mantra, I think maybe whomever, to any sentient being, You explain the sacra mantra. The expression here says, from this, not even one won’t reverse from enlightenment, go back from go opposite from enlightenment. So, anybody who wants to explain this mantra in this individual, everyone will direct their life towards enlightenment. Nobody will go away from down, backwards from enlightenment.

Any learned one, by hearing the supreme mantra, Sunnah is a mantra. They protect meaning meaning, protecting mantra, as a protecting mind. Protecting the mind is a meaning of mantra. Of course, the whole entire tantric path is a mantra. The whole path to enlightenment is a mantra.

That’s the real meaning of the mantra, they protect the mind. So, related to the related to the meaning of tantra, the protecting mind according to generation stage, then protecting the mind from ordinary appearance and ordinary concept. Because here, it involves looking at everything as pure. Deity is a holy body, a place in mandala, others in them is deity. Deity is enjoyment, the ultimate enjoyment, that should be a great soul.

Yeah. So what they saw see. So when so you you keep the mind in pure pure doing everything pure. Stop the impure appearance and thought. Look at everything pure, you see.

So we practice pure thoughts. So that then also, I think, I guess, stage, the mind from the the ordinary state or the gross mind. So completion stage, seize the gross mind and try to act like the extremely subtle mind. See, clear, yeah, the clear light. Please, you see.

Gross mind doesn’t go to enlightenment. Already, extremely subtle mind goes enlightenment. Therefore, you need the completion stage to exercise. So that’s how we got the mantra, the completion part of the mantra, the projection mind. And then, tsun there’s a lot of terms in text in tsun, which generally means mantra, but the specific meaning of tsun is unforgettable wisdom.

Unforgettable wisdom stops non virtue and engage in virtue, so that meaning of the soul. Perhaps maybe it’s the function of what it does, the mantra. So anyway, by any learned one, by hearing this mantra, the Shirdagama mantra, and generating faith, definitely, without doubt, you will achieve all the qualities. So there’s the benefits. Then start to it starts starts the hundred names or hundred eight names of stick up.

So it seems very power this is very it seems very powerful. Truth. That’s just the mantra, but the the the hundredth name also seems a very, very powerful thing to say for purification or hybrid, you know, for success. So so a mantra is that. So it can be if you haven’t got clear to maybe somebody who got completely you know, can be copied one from other.

So to finish this part, the diff you know, difficulties to find perfectly birth is a session. And how this is rare, preciously. From the central nectar here, the continuation from before, I say. Being liberated, being completely liberated, or being completely free from the state, from the realm. Non aid non freedom.

During time, completely free from the realm, the aid and non freedom, received the body having freedom and richness. Being distracted being distracted and distracted by the appearance of this light and without taking the essence. Attempting again, going back to the Lord Realms. This is like returning back to your returning back again to your country as your home your home, empty hand. Empty hand, from the place, the land of jewels.

So, what I’m saying is that, this time we have received the body qualified for eight freedoms in happiness, so totally free from eight non freedoms, is freedom from then, barbarian, no freedom from prakistama. Long life God, in those form realms, the long life God. Only is awareness at the beginning of the birth and the end of the death. Otherwise, like sleep, concentration, so no opportunity to practice Lamrim. So, that All I have got is no freedom of Dharma.

Then, heretical being, no freedom of Dharma. Then, being in the time, you see, Buddha now descended, so there’s my teaching as well, no freedom Practice Dharma. See? Time, but not. Then, I’m gonna say that.

At that time, you see a place in a place where Buddha noticed and did you see? You know? No freedom to pronounce Dharma. So in the the world where Buddha did not descend, you see, That means then there will be teaching and no freedom to karsthama. Then full.

Being being full, then also a lot of feeling of stharma. So that Having received the richness, The five rich richness received from one side, five received from other side. So, being born as a human being, to the opposite of Christ Dharma. So here, when you meditate, it’s not just simple being born, you may be born, so opposite Prakash Tharma. Should we meditate and think more deeper this way, How that is as often as often mentioned that.

So, the the even the dogs and cats, you see, pigs, see, chickens, turtles, so forth. That is it. Ivan explained Ivan explained what is the cause of happiness. That’s the virtue. Cause happiness is virtue.

Even one as as everyone explains the dim for billions of eons, the and night, day and night, the cosmic happiness is virtual. No way they can understand. No way they can understand another word nor the meaning. And same, the definition of virtue, the action which results happiness, happiness. Action which results happiness is virtue.

Action was a result action was a result of happiness. Is that the the that is that the definition of virtue? Translating the words. So so any action that which any action that which results happiness, is that death is a virtue? Do you agree with that?

Anybody agree with that? Any action that which results happiness. Is is that the definition of virtue or not? Definition of what is the is the virtue not the virtue is the action the the discriminate discriminate by the action. But discriminate about action, effect of the action, the whether it result happiness or that result suffering.

If it result suffering, it’s not virtue. If it result happiness, it’s virtuous. Is like that? She’s what? She’s serving.

What? Agree? Who? Why? Then what’s the definition of virtue?

Yeah. Oh, yeah. Just to clarify, just to make it simple, is the ultimate happiness Action with the result, ultimate happiness is that virtue not. Action with the which results ultimate happiness. Is that virtue or not?

Yeah. Question is to that. To question is to to What’s the answer what’s the answer to this question? Does ultimate happiness come from non virgin or not? Does the ultimate comes from ultimate happiness?

Does it does it come from like, liberation from saṃsāra enlightenment? Ultimate happiness. Does it come from non virtue or not? So does that come from work? Does that come from non virtue?

Non virtue is action? Virtue. So they come from virtue? They don’t come from non virtue? For sure.

For sure, they don’t come from non virtue. I’m dead. For example, a guru, a teacher is scolding the disciple. You see, it may hurt the disciple, but the guru does with compassion. There’s no other way.

There’s no peaceful means to there’s no peaceful means to by praising or it’s it’s gonna only get worse. So by peaceful means, it doesn’t help. So only what is left is by scolding or beating, scolding. Then, you see, the Guru does purely compassion, purely to benefit that sentient being. The benefit of that sentient being, purely to practice Dharma, to overcome delusion, you see, free from saṃsāra, so that teaching enlightenment.

They’ve they’re purely done with pure, you see, without without, you see, self-cherishing thought, compassion to that being. Even though the world hurts the student body, there is a benefit, see, long term benefit, you see, to stop engaging Bengali or engaging heavenly karma, you see, immoral action, so forth. That brings to, say, practice morality. So, whatever it is, then that brings to, say, know, God’s disciple to achieve happiness future lives, then liberation of saṃsāra, also enlightenment. So, that’s the is the virtue, directional virtue.

Due due to power due to the power of the that yeah. Due to the power of the motivation. Pure motivation. Yes. That’s the virtue.

So, temporary, there’s a heart hurt, but there’s a long run benefit. The the action has a long run benefit. You see? That that there’s some temporary hurt there. So that actually, in the in see, in the real intention is not hurt.

It’s just a benefit, you see, to engage in Dharma practice and then to achieve happiness, the disciple to achieve happiness all of his life, then liberation, Ramadan, enlightenment like that. So the intention is to benefit, but method is just in it, you know, wrathful, you see, or the beating or whatever. That is similar that Guru Sahaja Mandalbuddha’s past life, who’s captain, the rebel captain, they knew this black man, this short black man. This black man carrying a spear was taken to kill five hundred five hundred business people when they vote, you see. And then couldn’t couldn’t bear that at all.

Unbearable compassion arise into that man who was going to defy the people, and that is going in the lower realm, in the hell. And for unimaginable events, after suffering, experienced heavy suffering. So, seeing all these, so arose unbelievable compassion. And then, totally give up himself to to be born in hell to suffer in order to in order to, say, protect this person by killing this person, you see, to and then to be born in hell to suffer, protect this person from engaging this heavy knit karma. So, purely to benefit, to save the person from engaging those very heavy knit karma, Then, due to that karma, you see, that we give up oneself to be born hell, suffer for that for the benefit of that person.

So, completely, you see, give up oneself by challenging that person. So, action, killing that person, is it? This unbearable breath heart, unbearable action, Hazeli. Breath heart, yeah, the action that would break heart, the compassion. You see?

So so because of that, and to to be born in the healthy limb, you see, to suffer for for the sake of that person, protect from killing the karma and all that. So, save that being from all the unimaginable sufferings, or eons, you see. So, like drinking nectar, like swans entering the pond. So happy to enter in the pond, that how about like during the nectar? Like that, I’m unbelievably happy to be in hell to experience suffering for that being.

See? With such a brave heart of compassion, that action, you see, instead of becoming the karma, it become good karma. You you don’t like merit. Instead of merit so much merit. And that action caused that Bodhisattva to be shorter in saṃsāra.

One hundred thousand years short, it made shorter duration to be in saṃsāra. See? It means close to achieve enlightenment. That must become close to achieve enlightenment. That that might be during the action, they might be hurting to that person.

They might be hurt. But you see, they say, we’ve done with a breath of heart. Such an incredible, unbearable compassion. So that action, killing that being, you see, only brought closer to enlightenment. So so there are are many stories like that.

And Metis and Buddha, once Buddhist supper time is monk, and there was one one one woman who was going commit suicide commit suicide, you know. I think not finding men or something committed suicide. So Mhmm. Then they leave to the with the with the woman for again, with same again, with same, you see, breath, heart, compassion, something like that. For three years or something like that.

Then that an unbelievable breath, heart, compassion. Then that to be with her cost to be, say, thirty thousand dirhams or ten thousand or thirty thousand dirhams to be shortened saṃsāra, because we collect so much merit. So that, yeah, those are due to, I say, action becomes a virtue due to yeah, I say, such a brave hearted compassion, you know, and then completely give up self. You see? To protect other beings from engaging in the heavenly karma.

So there are many stories like this. So, basically, it’s basically to do the motivation. What transforms the action, virtue, not virtue. Accept accept the actions. The you know, with attachment, the cling to the slide, nonverged thought, anger, you see, in the mind, ignorance, karma, like that.

But action, certain mobility, Buddha’s statue, stupa, scriptures, prostration, making offering, circumambulation. Those things that these actions then you see, motivation is not virtue, but action is virtue. As long as this is done towards the towards the no question actually living with Buddha, but even statues, stupid scriptures of Buddha, with power of object, these actions immediately become not only a cause of happiness, but it becomes cause of enlightenment. By the way, liberating the cause of liberation from saṃsāra, the way, cause of happiness in future life. So that means, of course, we have also cause of success in this life.

You know? So that but but we have see. So that’s what Lama Tsongkhapa mentioned. The actions done with the actions done not possessed by the bodhicitta, right view, renounced the of saṃsāra. Three Principal Aspects of life not done not possessed by any of these.

They become just then this action has just become cause of just saṃsāra. Ordinary just cause of saṃsāra except the exceptional actions. So, exceptional actions, what are they and then these are they. So that here in this case, with the holy objects, then the motivation is not virtue, but action is not virtue. Otherwise otherwise, all otherwise, all other rest and now I would say mhmm.

Like that. Mhmm. Then action is influenced by the motivation, but then virtue virtue, non virtue, but the influenced by the motivation. Okay. Yeah.

In the Lamrim explained, the action, the translation in Tibetan, le. And then, you know, if you translate this as the action. But what it what it is in Sanskrit Sanskrit karma. So what it is is it is it from the there there are six consciousness six six principle consciousness and the fifty one mental factor. So the karma, which is so the which results happiness, suffering for that that lay in Tibetan lay or the Sanskrit karma or the action.

So this what is that? This is mental this is the mind of the person. Not not the consciousness, but this is mental fact the fifty one mental factor. There is a five, say, mental factor that always accompany with principle of consciousness. So feeling is one, contact is one, intention, apprehension, cognition.

This is terrible, this is this, you see. Cognizing the phenomena, you see. So, So five mental factors always company with the principle of cartoonist. Does function on this does function on the same does function on the same object as the as the consciousness, but it’s a mental factor to to different job. On the same object, but do do a different job.

Different function on the same object. It’s like the government, you know, there’s one goal, but all the different offices, they work on the same object, each office has a different function. So so the conscience is like the the the king or the president, you see, that so now here, lay the this in Tibetan lay or the sanskrit karma action. So what is that? That is the from this five mental factor was always accompanied with the principle consciousness.

That which in in five similarities Functions on object in five similarities with the principle consciousness. So from those five mental factors, intention, intention for that that mental factor. The or karma action. So what is that? That’s the from the mind of the person, not conscious, it’s the mental factor.

From this there are different groups of mental factors. There are five mental factors that always come with the principles of consciousness. From those are intention intention intention. So symbol symbol so layer two. Symbol so the intention that which you see, simply let same principle of consciousness.

Mhmm. So that, let’s say, that function of object, you see, we define similarities, time, aspect, substances, essence, similar that the five similarities. So Yeah. Then, so that’s the motivation before the act. Then during the act, intended some delay.

Intended action. So, that is it. During the act, see, there is companies with the act or influence the act, you know, that companies with the action. They say, well, action of speech or body is accompanied with that. So you have to think along this way.

The one I said, action which brings which causes result which which results happiness and cause and effect to the result happiness, virtue action which cause cause or result are suffering in virtue. What I was saying before, everything along this along this way, you see, discussions like that. But the Lamrim, you see, is one way of explaining, but, of course, again, the details depend on which school. See, think it’s Sabahatantra school or Babaja’s school, Charanayana, so that they again exhibit a different questions. However, let’s explain Lamrim introduced, so like that.

So, anyway, if you do question and answer, I think you want to finish much. You know, if you’re the question and answer, finished batch. Get it stuck in one point for a long time.
