About this talk. In this 29-minute session from a 2005 Kṣitigarbha retreat in Hong Kong, Lama Zopa Rinpoche guides practitioners through intention-setting. He focuses on generating compassion by contemplating the suffering of all sentient beings—sickness, poverty, lack of dharma, war, natural disasters—and resolving to relieve it through practice. He emphasizes that maintaining bodhicitta while dwelling in connection with sentient beings carries immense power to help. He then guides a detailed dedication of merit toward worldwide dharma projects: monasteries, temples, hospitals, dharma centers, and sacred statues. Finally, he teaches how dedicating one’s life to benefiting others transforms the mind from despair to profound joy, concluding with instruction on emptiness and enlightenment. For practitioners already engaged in formal retreat.

Then we do that seven-limb practice. Seven-limb. On a on a seven-limb. Okay. Okay.

So maybe here. By this meditation of the mantra of him, now now you become like only you, but yourself, together alive. Specifically, your holy body, like your life has been like your energy, like your holy name. That does it.

Limited the scope, benefit to sentient beings, every second. Whichever universe world country, area plus house, my cellars, family members, sentient beings who have connection with me. Sicknesses, poverty, poverty of means of living, poverty of dharma, poverty and fights, quarrels, war, dangerous fire, water, earthquake, all these economical problems, so forth. All these may be pacified immediately. So that means just one’s own family members, there’s a connection to us.

Simply being in that universal world world country area plus house, just being there, then able to affect to all the living beings in the universal country area plus house Affair, never to be harmed, then all the other things which I mentioned before that happened. That’s happening, all these problems that happening to be stopped immediately. Like Indonesia, the recent tsunami, those earthquakes happen again and again like that in any part of the world. So, that’s happening to be stopped immediately. May nobody in this world experience all these uncivilized things forever.

So, it means just simply being this one’s family members, that’s connection to one’s self, simply being in this universe will completely bless them.. Then may dharma, may dharma, the how should we say prosper prosper in the hearts of everyone. May everything be a special, especially Jangchub bodhicitta in everyone’s heart without limit, may I say. So a question from the heart, sorry. But you can first in a particular which is that one has projects or whatever.

Most important one is a realization as I mentioned before, from guru devotion. Then another which is one that arises. So whatever the wishes you have to benefit of a single being, the teaching of the Buddha. So that’s going not time to go or to go to different place. So we just recite the mantra.

Okay? Stop that. Fourteen-limb. It’s the every single word, what I’m going to say is that for the happiness, every human, every every human, every every every to fulfill the wishes of Compassionate Buddha in human form, Lama Zopa, and all other holy people who are in this earth, only to serve. And also, this dedication, may to be able to construct as quick as possible, the five hundred foot statue and all the rest of the projects in this organization. All the fellowships help the Sanghas preserve dharma, spread dharma, build monasticism, during vast world, helping the already existing ones.

Then social service took in past world, Mongolia, Tibet, many different parts of the world. So, hospitals in different parts of the countries and building holy objects different parts of the world to purify the minds of beings, collect causes and collect merits, to bring them to enlightenment and all the Dharma centers, meditation centers, organization, all those who have debts, to be able to be supported and all their projects to succeed and meet. So, because you are good heart, you generate a good heart to that you’re going to live your life to benefit others. Freedom from suffering and to bring them in full enlightenment, the supreme happiness. To bring the new liberation from saṃsāra and the full enlightenment.

So, we’re going to live one’s life to benefit to others and then to serve others. So, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Gurus is extremely pleased, so happy, and they melt into golden light and then absorbed with you. And from the center of your chest, the center of the chest. Not anybody’s center of the chest. Not anybody’s center of the chest.

Just and not anybody. A cat and dog or anything. So then you’re you’re sending to all beings. I’m joking. I’m joking.

So it fills your whole body. Because of that because of the attitude because of the your life is so meaningful, so fruitful, full of incredible joy, happiness. So much joy and happiness. Your heart filled with joy It’s still, in the place of hopelessness, there’s depression, then on a joy, happiness. The mind of all other living beings, also family members.

Mhmm. All the sentient beings likewise, but one is empty from its own side, that which exists but is empty from its own side. May the I who is empty from its own side achieve Bodhisattva’s enlightenment, which is empty from its own side. May lead all the sentient beings
