About this talk. In this 187-minute session from the Mahāmudrā International Retreat, Lama Zopa Rinpoche teaches guru devotion (bhakti), showing how to recognise one’s teacher as the embodiment of all Buddhas despite the appearance of human faults. Opening with liturgical homages and establishing the context of practice, he explains that what a guru manifests—as suffering, as ordinary fallibility, or as enlightened form—depends entirely on the student’s karma and degree of purification. Using classical stories (Asaṇga’s vision of Maitreya in a wounded dog; a yogi’s encounter with Tārā manifesting as a leprous woman), he illustrates how deep compassion and pure understanding can reveal the Buddha-nature beneath apparent suffering. He emphasises that the guru’s display of ordinariness is precious because it makes the teachings accessible and actionable, and stresses repeatedly that continuity of practice matters far more than rapid results—one may need many lifetimes to fully actualise the path, and this is not a failure but the realistic scope of genuine transformation. He closes with practical merit-dedication verses and announces the beginning of silent retreat precepts. Pitched at practitioners already in retreat and those with grounding in Buddhist doctrine.

Jungri Yoga. The long version. The long, extensive, elaborate. It’s the condition for this retreat. Azum, she’s already left and will be here any moment.
So the extremely short version without the slightest elaboration. Teaching Teaching Press, page five. God, I know the world’s supreme guide of human beings became teacher of gods and human beings to you, completely and fully awakened one, endowed to the sun destroyer, glorious conquerors, the jewel from the shaky clan, now an incomparably wise one. To you, I prostrate. Saviour, having great compassion, found having all understanding, field of mere qualities like a vast ocean.
To you, the one going to last us, I prostrate. Purity that frees one from attachment, virtue frees one from blur realms, one prostrate. Homage is streamed with a homage to all three, have a devout homage. To all worthy respect, bound with bodies as many as all realms, atoms, and all aspects with supreme faith, I pay homage. Do not commit any non virtuous actions.
Perform any perfect virtuous actions. Subduel your mind thoroughly. This is a teaching of the Buddha. A star, a vision aberration, a flame of a lamp, an illusion, a drop of dew or a bubble, a dream, a flash of lightning, and clouds, see conditioned things as such. Through these madness, my sentient beings, stay in the rank of all seeing.
Subjug the fur of force and be delivered from some sorrow’s ocean, perturbed by ways of aging, sickness, and death. Similarly, there’s no suffering, origination, cessation, and heart. There’s no sword of wisdom, no attainment, and also no non attainment. Shall I preach it, therefore, because there’s no attainment, what is suffering, and well, perfection of wisdom. The mind without obscuration and without fear, having completely passed one dera, they reached the end point of Nepal.
All the Buddhists advanced three times also manifestly completely awakened the unspousable perfect complete nature, a reliance on perfection of wisdom. Therefore, the mantra on. Mhmm. That one. Page thirteen.
I know know know of refuge refuge to Sangha. We frustrate the great mother of Prajñāpāramitā, wisdom gone beyond, surrounded by all the children, by the assemblies of Buddhism, body suffers of ten directions. By depending on my prostrations to all of you, may these words of truth be actualized. Thus, as in the past, the deva king Indra reflected on profound meaning and the wisdom gone beyond, recited restored. May the host of eighty thousand obstacles be pacified.
May we be separated from problems and harmful conditions to Dharma. May all enjoyments be in accord with the Dharma. May there be auspicious and perfect happiness here right now. So before we, reset the house of the and the life of doing practice here, like to to request that for instance, which is to substitute immediately to attend that and then to be able to construct as quick as possible and the completion and the most beneficial to the most beneficial syndemics, then all the the success. Not only with the approach, all the rest of the all the rest all the projects of building wholly objects in different parts of the world and then the social service and But it’s something that’s quite a marriage and to find to an extra path for that and bring peace and happiness.
And not only this world, but in the to all things and all the then all the every centers, you know, Ultimately, so all the other project is that it has to be such a whatever intention is to benefit to to be obtained. What are plans to be actualized immediately. All the able to provide all the needs for all these various and development center. And as well as various social service. Setting up education and all those projects and and then including university education of that.
So I’ve and everyone here for success or everyone here in the Dharma practice, the completion of the path, to complete complete path. So we will send heart to the life state. So we aim, we include all these. I think this must be the man which is yeah. Think it might be.
We’ll see if we could the we’ll put your commentary upon one or so. This text is printed that time, so I think last year or a year before. So I think this last one, I think, must be The Buddhas name. Before that, I thought maybe first is his name, but I think I think lost someone who says train. That’s all.
It must be I think it must be his name. So when so before that, it’s great very famous great who did ensure unbelievable extensive benefit to the teaching Buddhas and they wrote many, many teachings. So this from Amdo, Lama Kupasarasche, who is a reincarnation of Maitreya Buddha, Nangwanchamba, Nangwanchamba. So I wrote the text. It is whole collections of teachings by Nangwanchamba.
One of the exhibitions ordained many, many so many. One of the of the great activities of that lama. The whole collection is work. Then before that, let’s go to. There’s there’s two.
Maybe one. The life life story I haven’t read. To one Gallagher, I read a little bit of teaching of Gallagher to to one just in one who has the heritage when you’re in Tibet in Sera Monastery. So, way up there, you know, quite way up there, there’s one heritage. So if you want this Tibet and Sera, Tibet and Sera.
So we’re up there, there’s a mountain like this. But there’s one heritage. This is from Sera Che. I read a little bit of read a little bit of the some some teachings that from this lama. They unbelievable lama there.
Whenever whenever I was I have a few teachings of this advice. Whenever this lama keep teaching, always starts with the bodhicitta. Always. Whenever he first thing starts with the bodhicitta. And everything, whatever he short teaching I mean, there may be, you know, commentaries of teachings and simple but short advice, very unique and very so powerful, very effective of the mind.
Always begins with teaching bodhicitta, very moving mind. Then his system, this lama system is that always do the lama chakra talk. Always and then there’s a Buddhist aval, always with the lama chakra talk. Sorry. And then, obviously, there’s a sign that you know, is a special thing.
They always, you know, with that Incredible, unbelievable. Then a few names back. So I have a collection of teachings. And that was unbelievable, you know, the clarity of the teaching. I think it’s one sort of commentary about the Guinea.
That’s the root. That’s one of the basis of the that’s the basis. Based the commentary, Japan, but you’re going to comment. So then there’s a question again. It must be another one of the previous slides, something like that.
Then before that, Gashin is Johnson. That so the Kasinski Johnson, I think it’s a person on our chambers. Seems to be. Question is, that, you know, did did, you know, one of the pundits in Tibet, you know, pundits extremely. So there’s so many many forms of teaching sūtra and tantra coming through.
So I think is a disciple of that. So many years in the retreat, know, built so much hustle to say, you know, so so the practice on the path, ex wife slumbers and. So when the Gatzengstielson was in heritage, so the Gatzengstielson carried huge load of cow dung for fire or for school gut change gelatin, hematite, acidic life, in the liver and state life. So to make fire for food, keratin, much of very high mountain, huge lot of cow dungs, cow and then yak dung, I’m not sure what. So what then, Kassir Johnson gave an offering, gave a limited drink.
Then after that, he got plus minded incredible realizations in chips and that I haven’t read actually the life stories of them. There’s a whole life story. Of course, Jenny Willis. Jenny Willis. The doctor or professor, what is it?
Generalist, PhD. She’s the first disciple of LAMA received BacLhasava initiation. Generalist and there’s another one couple from California. I don’t know. They’re very old street.
When we when we were with this very old on top of the Kapkan Hill, this old building that built by nebulous king, the previous kings. You know? This king’s father or the father of nature. The king was killed king who was killed, his father’s. Okay.
Maybe build this for the for the guru or for the astrology. I think very old or maybe English style building. So but you can’t see from outside because it’s covered by trees. Only if you climb the mountain and top, then you can see the the building, not from outside. I think I lost the story.
Generalist. Generalist. Generalist. Generously. What?
Generously. Yeah. So Lama and the Marask, of course, that’s Gina was taking cash. So when you came from the drawer, main drawer, you know, then the step went up the kitchen, two rooms, and then the other main building. She was the the main main main room and the first room.
We come from the gate to come through. The first room, there’s a one tiny room. Lama there, myself. Lama there, myself here. Sometimes, the one who has a, you know, the vegetarian restaurant who opens vegetarian restaurant where all the people go to restaurants go in Bulgaria.
So they also had open restaurant, saṃsāra downloaded bus station, the bus station, so they download home lessons. It was a famous student from Tibet. Then when he become director, so that he changed he changed his life. When he was, you know, So So so I’m not so I’m not I’m there. I’m just looking at my when he when he comes back.
So or was there I was there or something. One of you know what Anyway so and there was another two one couple. I don’t remember. Robert Robert or something. Anyway, there were there was one Nepalese man called Ram.
Worked for a couple. So work for us and and for building so many years from genius time working. Yeah. One of the you know? So I think his house, they lived his house lived, I don’t know, some two, three minutes, I think, there.
So it’s two street house. So the family live downstairs. They do a bunch of subreddits upstairs. So the family make fire. So the room upstairs, where they do a bunch of subreddits filled with smoke And one small room.
One small room, maybe little bit dark. So they were the first in that tiny room, Lama gave Bhagavad Sharma Initiation to them and gave commentary. So they were the first one, Tiripat Sharma Truth in their own room, this family realm, this family house. So she wrote Lineage Lama’s of Mahāmudrā commentary many, many years ago. I think so many years ago.
Think there’s I think maybe that was her thesis thesis. I’m not sure. Yeah. So if somebody want to read, to want to know that their life story, I don’t know how many there are. There must be mostly must be there.
So she made wrote the life story to mom of the lineage. So that of course of course, it does more time, because that’s very inspiring to return. Very inspiring to read to hear, able to hear. Arrangement. Then when we do this, even though the mentation is explained, the mentation is good to respect the data through the which which of the name you mentioned, the essence, you know, to down to the that’s how to say, you know, meditation is.
Understanding but knowing each of their life story, it becomes a great inspiration. One thing one thing in our life one thing is a material numbering. The other one is also very good to read, life story. The life story of the lineage lamas of Lamrim, Buddha’s life story and the, you know, the lineage lamas of Lamrim, their love story, the such as a minute apart. Those, you know, those say, it doesn’t have to be only, you know, lineage of Lamasulamrum.
This is very, I think, very important because because the the the teaching that passed through, this is what we’re going to practice and what we’re going to exercise. So this way so it helps, you know, how they practiced. It helps. It inspires so much. We to know how they are practiced and exercise the Lamrim realization.
And we we find out how much they be much hardship, you know, the the the beard, how much how much patient they practiced, perseverance. So we know from each of the stories how they did. So it gives incredible inspiration and that gives incredible courage to, you know, inspiration, courage to work to work to work to able to overcome, to be able to bear hardships. Let’s see. So in so in so then when you’re able to be hardships, then there’s no obstacle to practice Dharma and able to able to continue.
Most important thing is to continue. Then most the most important is to continue. Even if even if the time for meditation is very short, very important is to continue all the time. Continuity is the most important. After some time, you get the nature of the mind, it can develop, it can progress.
If not month by month if not if it’s not if not progress by one month by month, but year by year. If not even if not year by year, at least between some years, it might be able to progress. So can continue continuity, definitely, think definitely one will have a progression realization. By knowing how to practice, you see putting together all the cost conditions, you see. Of course, the good version of the most taking care of that practice and paying all the attention on that and then practice of purification of collective method.
I mean, whether you do something separate, practice of purification of collective method, whether you do a separate treatment practice or not. But if you do the guru devotion that everything is into that. So it is said that when Millennials was building this tower to, you know, building tower and all these goldings, all these beating, and this contains many hundred thousands of prostration. It is it is not traditional practice prostrating like this, but our city doing Baja Saba is not that. Not a traditional tea plant practice.
Not that. But it includes within that, it includes each time, scald purifies so much of a karma of a it’s incredible blessing. It is as mentioned in the great yogi, doctor. Think that you The scold guru scolding is he this is his advice. When the guru scolding guru scolding, it is a wrathful mantra specifying the obstacle for the disciple.
Then the guru beats, that’s the initiation. You want to replace him, then that will do that that will keep placement. The desirable replacement from that. The scolding is rustful mantra. So usually, if there’s obstacle then spirit harm or something, whatever, then rustful mantra is a strategy to to level up.
So things like that you see. So you’re saying, though, so gurus call and that is rustful mantra. Somebody wish to eliminate obstacles and this will eliminate obstacles. Then it will be and then this is initiation and if ours need to receive blessing, then this you know, the disciple will receive blessing from this. So that’s how.
However, so Marpa is so skillful guiding to achieve enlightened culture. This building tower and scolding beating, not giving teaching initiation or not giving any teaching for a long time, for years. So this includes many hundred thousand procession and there’s many hundred thousand of all these practices, many hundred thousand of Mandala offerings. There’s in many of the life story, there’s no, know, many hundred thousand of duties, many hundred thousand, you know, many hundred thousand refuge. There’s no but they like that.
So this time that was spent with the Marpa and all this hard work beating. The that’s all these different preliminary practice, many hundred thousand. So yeah. So anyway, not only not only they look they don’t want the lamas or tradition, the lamas, but also other poor tradition, those great yogi, Those who did did the benefit of teaching sentient beings very who’s a great example. Know, exercise path benefit of a great example.
To read a life story, that’s another very important one in the life. A great source of inspiration, courage. So I think it’s very important. So the Papua New Guinea Boutique gave advice to the one who recent who few years ago passed with the international. His past life was the one who become regent of a what?
Talking about the third Dalai Lama. He’s passed away and become pointed you know, become regent. Rajinvooji is the incarnation of the Tom Tamper, who is the Rajinvooji, who had Kadampass, one source of Kadampa can. The main base or main original monastery of Kadampa Latin which we visited this recent. So Raju Numbuchi is the definition of Dongtampa.
So anyway, so Pavongka gave advice to this who has a recent of the Dalai Lama. So in their advice so also upon the advice advises the language what to what to reach, what so, you know, what which text to focus to help. So it gives fewer number of text. Then that includes a lot story, some of last story as well. So I think reading a lot of story now, of course, there are many which are not translated.
Of course, there are so many which are not translated in English, probably religion. Anyway, problem there’s a lot of life story, of course, very important. Whatever one can find, it was very, very good to read. It’s really courageous and you know how to practice Dharma. And also very interesting and it’s not boring, it’s it’s a very interesting.
So it’s like you’re taking in your your journey, kind of, you know, that is a early time, middle, at the end, you know, of that lama. So it’s very, very, very inspiring. To to help. Mind become lazy, you know, or even got bored to mental alarm ring. Or it’s same again.
Same again over same food, same. Same oh, I know that. You know? Oh, I know I know that. I read I have read that already.
I know that. So anyway but of course, is very deep, but it can go to it can go from there to philosophy. You know, can go very deep, very extensive. But, of course, it can be presented in very simple way. However, other so there’s other ways to inspire your mind, you know, by reading up stories.
How they actualize the path. They didn’t become bored of. They did not become bored of. They got their years and years practiced in actualized path. Continuity.
So continuity is the most important. I think probably you would know that students that continue with this is the most whether progress or not progress, whether you’re seeing change or not within that year. However, no matter how long it takes time. But the plan but the planning but the for many lifetimes to practice Lamrim, in your heart planning, it’s one that’s often advice. Often, when it’s come to Western, you know, the people, the students, the general teaching, public teachings, you know, if there’s some advice if there’s some advice to give after giving advice to all the monks, you know, lay people, general, and this, They shouldn’t shouldn’t expect to have realization very quickly.
That’s that’s usually when it comes to Western advice to Western people. Like a term, you say, shouldn’t expect so so quick, so fast. Shouldn’t expect that. As I remember, probably many of you go to to teachings so many times, as you remember more precisely. So anyway, planning for I don’t remember exactly what, but how you plan for many lifetimes, many hundreds of lifetimes, we plan to plan Slam Dream.
Even one doesn’t think for three times, you know, even it takes so much time when perhaps actually slum dream. Let’s see. For both purpose, for your support, your benefit, and for the benefit of especially benefit of a numberless for the benefit of for the happiness of numberless sentient beings. However, even to tax three hundred million dollars I’m going to do it. However, even one doesn’t think that even one hundred million of tax, I’m going to do it.
So I’m going to do it. But I mean, what is the other what other choices that what other choice you have to be free from you want mean, do you want to be free from saṃsāra or do you want to live in saṃsāra all the time and suffer again and again and go to a lot of times, suffer there, then the time to come up in human rhythm. So like yeah. So do you want I mean, do you want to do that all the time? Or, you know, practice Lamrim and, let’s see, and get out of saṃsāra and achieving life in the present beings.
So it’s a question of what you I mean, whether you want to do that or do you want to be continuously, know, suffering saṃsāra. So of course of course, we don’t of course, you know, sometimes do you like suffering? Of course, said no. Sometimes do you like suffering? Because everybody will say in one voice.
So anyway, I mean, that’s not a choice. So one one must plan even if it takes even it takes not just one hundred ten hundreds of lifetime, but even it takes time. I’m I’m gonna do it. I’m a do it. So my plan so it’s on the open says, if you plan like this, then realizations for the mind progression will happen.
It means so much it means you have curious mind, interesting mind thinking that something is going to happen, so realization. That didn’t happen, then mind disappointed, then stopped practice. So I’m just saying that. Like that, cannot develop mind. Must for long time, like this many many lifetimes.
And that one there’s one student, a Chinese lady, who usually if if you’re Peking, you know, and a little Hong Kong or a different place. She during retreat, She only all the time on on a time on all the time she’s, you know, looking forward to retreat. So she’s doing retreat. So when Nepal, the bottle of Tibet, Mhmm. The bottle of Tibet.
Well, that they they can guide you, I think. And one monk from China, but the Tibet traditional monk who translated the teachings of Kampawa Chinese. So she gave me a picture of Milarepa, small painting. The Miller Leopard that I’ve shown the bottom part. See in long time, then the bottom part is I think become turned blue turned to blue in the heart of So much sitting.
So I’ve shown the story, I think, has shown shown her back to is it disciple heart disciple today? No. Gamba is what? So to Gamba, you know, by taking, let’s say, rope, I say, shovel, then show the backside to Gamboba. The backside to Gamboba show How he be you know, beard so much harsh.
Sure. Hard surely how much hardship that he beared to maintain a path in prasadharma. So as soon as you used to bring that sometime, you know, emphasizing to be a heart. Since that story is a very it’s one of same it’s one of those expressions that how it’s it’s incredible moving mind or, you know, inspiring. First, you see my painting of that.
She met the the so an artist made painting of that. So Gambeau was sitting there, like like how you see a painting, then Mary Poppins show in the back. I thought you offered to that business, but I don’t know what happened. I don’t remember what happened with that painting. So whatever happens yeah.
That’s right. So, I mean, there are many lives there are many life story. Llamas story. Incredible. It’s unbelievable.
Many advice many advice you get when you read the life story. Many advice you get in your life. Yeah. The is here. Then he teaches.
So this one, unbelievable. The great pundit. Is incredible lama that I didn’t didn’t get to read his life story, but read or so the main thing in the rate is the large lump room, the great transmission, the great transmission. So here I thought maybe mention that some stories. So the actually, Kaphan actually, the Kaphan causes, how it started is from this lama’s teaching, Kaji Shiyaltsu.
When I was at Baqsa, I happened to let Lamjing just a little bit debating. So debate in the debate, basically, monasteries, I mean, now there are many teachings happening, but from the sūtra lama. As soon as soon as even though so busy, extremely but always give time to the monasteries, put them in a thousand months and give lineage of the, you know, the philosopher teachings and as well as the Lamrim again and again. So Tibet Tibet, they don’t have much Tibet don’t have much chance and it’s not allowed. Of course, maybe it’s not a gift.
When it’s not a gift, maybe that’s but it doesn’t you don’t you don’t hear much story. I don’t know that that the Dalai Lama Thang gave many Lama teachings. I’m not sure. Like this. I don’t think like this.
President want us. I don’t think. However, in Tibetan monasteries, then you the monks according to monastery discipline, you’re not allowed to go out for the teachings from some higher lama or initiations. That’s only to do that’s only to do after you finish Geshe, everything’s finished study or that. According to monastery discipline, generally, not allowed that.
The main emphasis is just to study the philosophy. In some ways, I think it is good because if you let everybody go out, then go to the mountains, everyone, you see, go to the technicians and then it’s a monastery study, the extensive study that was established. Then there wouldn’t be continuity of that. Everybody will go out. They have a little bit of learning teaching.
They’re here learning teaching. So Lam Rao teaching emphasizes meditation, you know, subdue the mind, taming the mind, meditation. So there was special present special presentation there. Then everybody could go to the mountains. Then many thousands among to really do the extensive study in the monastery, to carry on to take the to receive the knowledge from the great teachers, then they become the teacher.
They pass the young ones. So that will interfere with that. So some ways it some ways it has meaning. For example, from this, why even just the FMT, just our organization, why we can receive so many qualified teachers? In the organization, we can have so many qualified teachers.
The old old issues we’ve been here in the West and in Australia for many years, for so many years and those and then also a very well educated new ones. Mhmm. So many even just within the FMD. So many qualified teachers, teachers, accuracy, you know, very good. It’s because the system that they have in this Lama sanctation is monasteries, the way of learning the system, extensive learning Dharma system that is actually in Tibet hundreds of years ago that has continued.
They didn’t have a they did not have a distraction to material development. Some of the distractions in Tibet didn’t happen. I mean, everything is like the site of things, cave, monasteries, statues. So site of thing main site of thing in Tibet is mainly is that. It’s not there’s not a not a decent building this, you know, laying the way as you see.
Even the sightseeing is just that, you see. But all inspiration, dharma, You know? There’s no distraction, you see, in life, material development, other things. So I think so I think it so I think it was very good. Even the Tibet, you know, didn’t they only focus on dharma in Tibet in the past.
They didn’t contact other countries, you know, outside countries, you know, west, that is it did not allow technology and all this in Tibet and you see all this connection and business, bring business in Tibet, all this, you know what, what many countries do these days. So it was I think it was very good they didn’t do that in the past in Tibet. So I think everybody focused on Dharma, just Dharma. So therefore, the Buddhism in Tibet, so strong and so strong and and even the land, whole land so blessed. So blessed with so many thousand thousand thousand of heritage, full of images among us.
Like a nest of the ants in the holes like that. Now so much is destroyed. Now so much is destroyed. You don’t see. But before before, many practitioners had announced and they were not into a pattern.
So I think they do this, even bring business into that, you know, how many countries but material development. So it was a simple life, focus on dharma. You know? The whole the whole example, the the peep what best what best the people they think were best? Dharma.
So everybody had this idea. Otherwise otherwise, to material life, you know, best success, money, you see. So I think that’s why that Complete Buddhism was preserved in Tibet so far. I mean, so now, even though that, you know, the mainland China took off and all this happened, But as soon as basically as soon as kindness came out of Tibet, and then so the freedom to start the monasteries and establishing ourselves. The system is still there.
Quite a number of older ones are able to come with education, with very top education, quite a number of highly educated ones are able to come out. Then they were able to educate those great learning ones, able to educate so many hundreds of ones. So now the young many young, excellent, good hearted, Educate well educated, but also good heart. Young cases, we’re able receive now more and more. So, anyway, even with the FM governance, why we have many teachers for good teachers, and educate.
I said that’s because I said, yeah, the good system that’s incredible. System that will learn depth index, as we say, in this monasteries, the Namathum tradition. Namathum was disciple established. So that so they were producing many teachers. Where where some other traditions, very rare, very difficult to get qualified teacher.
You know? Very difficult to get qualified teacher. Even there are many centers, but you see many centers, but there’s no teacher and just small group, just people themselves to just some to just some, you know, practice, some prayer, you know, some of more color. You know, there’s not much there’s not much study with, you know, the because teacher, not easy to get not easy to get qualified teacher. Very difficult.
Because variable. Why? Because monasteries able to produce many teacher. I think that’s somehow. Course, there are administration there are many ministers now.
I think in other places also paying much attention in the philosophy of study because he’s always emphasized a lot. And then debate, even other tradition, they learn debate. They like the same style as the debate. So that’s also not as minimal as they learn whatever the motivation is. But however, minute, Now this is take interest and learn.
But, you know, part of what they got on logician like that and that. So now, you know, coping from those monsters. So anyway, what’s so that’s why I was talking about. So the the this is a debating subject. Didn’t didn’t didn’t didn’t read Lamrim.
During my first retreat in Tibet before I skipped. But there was no I didn’t see any commentary, so just to recite MiMi TV. And I thought I finished the number, but I didn’t know how to count it. Then my teacher, the manager teacher who took care of me, who helped me to become a monk in the tramadge monastery in Tibet, who who made offerings to monks and to him. So he left one text.
I think must be Lamrim, I think. I’m not sure. I don’t know what it is. It’s like I didn’t have to have knowledge of that. So so anyway, when I didn’t receive random teachings, many people there, just for first of all, study.
Of course, if you want new Lamrim, teaching, of course, Lamrim, Whatever Buddha’s teaching will study, so all goes into Lamrim, part of Lamrim. However, so when we came to Nepal, we’re staying that that that time we didn’t move to Kopan, we were staying about that. Almost a year, stayed in the the Gelugpa monastery. That time, there was only one Gelugpa monastery near the stupa. It’s a Mongolian lamasa monastery.
Then the monks from this Khashish Gyaltsa monastery is monastery in Tibet but near Nepal. So the monks came from Tibet. This monastery lived lived in that monastery, built a Mongolian Lama. So so when we came to Nepal, we stayed with the. So we were good we are supposed to go to Sri Lanka to that Mahāyāna center.
That was the that was the main aim. But at that time, India didn’t have a good relationship with Russia. So she’s Russian, and she has the name Russian she has the name princess, princess Ruzhevsky, was king who revolutionary thing, left Russia and then lived in France. I think maybe she was born in France, I think. So because of that and because of that, I think, in the suspect house, she was the zina is a spy, the suspect.
So she went to Sri Lanka after we met. After we spent nine months at. She went to Sri Lanka. So we used the correspondence when we were Pakistan. Then she came back.
They we went to see Sungatai Lama and to start center at the Mahayanashtra there, but then in the government. So since from Calcutta, we went to Calcutta to meet her there, stayed to the Therabadon, this guesthouse. Then from Calcutta in the train to Delhi, all those weeks staying there, there’s all spy outside cars cars and motorcycles waiting. When she comes out, when he go, was a car and the you know, they’re nearby. The motorcycles all go together or lined up.
And then because because she appears outside like kind of kind of like a very suspicious. She’s she’s not a spy at all, but and also is named princess of that anyway. So So when we travel from Calcutta or from Delhi to Pratanka, so the in the train, in the same compartment, spies were there. Over there, spies. And there’s one the head of spies.
The head of spies is a very glorious looking man. There’s a mustache like this. Know, with the head of the head of the spine. Anyway, so at Poshita, so at that time, so we requested to ordain her, but it’s not in that time. So she was ordained at Tuśita, That time, think she has already moved down.
So Tuśita become like a haunted house. Haunted? Haunted? Haunted house, kind of old building rats. So think Namjia monks, I think they used that for to put this.
While she was a disembodied nation, they had the spy was down below the mountain, you know, going back and forth, going back and forth, waiting for her. Is it waiting for her? So, anyway, they think she’s a very important spy. Maybe think I think she’s gonna sell the whole India to Russia or something. Anyway, so we went to see some Dalai Lama and as if going to Sri Lanka.
You know? There’s no about them. Went to a religious office, and then those men gave advice. He gave advice this word to he said to the lama that don’t don’t beat drum. When when you can teach, don’t beat.
Means means I think what he meant he meant is a. So only teach from scripture only teaching from scripture, but without without experience. Petrol Trudung is just, you know, what scriptures you just passed, then, you know, without without your practice. So he gave just that advice. They had a little just off to Then because she was suspected of spy and all that, then Lama’s it was Lama’s idea to go to Nepal because I was born there.
So Lama thought to go to Nepal. So actually, to how everything started in Nepal, it’s a Lama’s kindness, the and the Kuppan ministry. It was the Lama’s idea to go to Nepal for some time. So we stayed at Guru Ministry last year in the evaluation. And then moved to Chinelama.
Chinelama is the caretaker of the Buddha Buddha, the great stupa. I think for many years, he’s a caretaker. Chinelama. I don’t know what anyway, so his son had a house, one house with a double bachelor in the other road. We stayed also there for years.
But with a French artist who always talks about Madagascar and Madagascar. And those places where they tell, you know, always when I’m a French doctor who does voluntary work in Nepal in Nepal is a public hospital who likes very much to meditate when I was a person. But he cuts when he sees snakes in the field, he cuts snake all the way through, split the body half. So as a and then keep the hang. So I went to this outside to see there’s still the heart moving.
You know, body cut. Then the heart, you can see the heart there. You know, this is still moving. Heart body is gone. So before that before that house or the which is.
But there were before that or after, I’m not sure. Not the there’s one green building. Now not going to have destroyed the building. So, anyway, we stayed stayed there, moved from the monastery. One day, the Sherpa he was a he became a monk in the Dai Shinobu monastery.
There’s a Sherpa comes in. There’s a small section from where which come which country he came from. So that belongs to Geshe Chamathetra comes in, I think. But I wasn’t blunt there. But but I wasn’t blunt there.
I belong to Tomogeshe’s monastery comes in because of what because I became a monk in Tomogeshe monastery. So because of that, that otherwise, I didn’t belong to Kishisham Patajos comes in. Anyway, so he was a monk before. Anyway, he became rich in Nepal, in fact, by selling and statues. So he has he has many students, disciples, you know, who met and his guidance sell statues.
Many students, you know, it’s a business business student business disciple. And so, anyway, this ship he since this is a shepherd man, met the Loud Lama. You know? Who was the story that was talking about. Maybe this is an issue or something.
However, he came one day to meet us. And so he offered to me the great commentary of the thought transmission, the Lamrim text of Buddhist lama, Keshin’s children. And then he offered to Heruka Heruka Buddha Mandala, the commentary to lama. So even from that time, lama used to reach the not generation stage, completion stage, even from that time. So many, many years ago.
So I was I was looking sometimes what lamas are reading when lamas out. So just I was just spying. See? So always completion status from that time. So that shows the level of practice in the in the in the ordinary view, just the not talking reality, but just an ordinary view.
So this Lambertan text, he gave me the. So this spent quite a number of years. Almost like a pillow or see, blanket or something. So it went to Solo Kumbu and then building the most there, then brought down. So that red that it’s very extensive.
We went to the we went to Bugaya one time, which was giving commentary on. So so there was one Japanese man. Zeno was with us. Japanese man came man came Japanese man monk, you know, England and Scotland, the Lama Tonga’s, you know, monastery like that, there. So he was teaching meditation.
So we all went with Gina. She always like to go to different, you know, lamas or different, know, to oversee and to ask question and to meet. So because of that, we also come to know other traditional lamas, like Kaluru Rinpoche and Sushankar Marpa, as few other lamas. We come to know and spend time. And and so when the his name is Zengo.
So he so he guided meditation. Just maybe one hour or so. Then he then he said stop he said, stop sinking. Stop sinking. And stop sinking anything.
Anything. Then he said, this is dharmakaya. This is enlightenment. And world is meditation. I don’t think I was unhappy to start to stop thinking of it.
So so I thought I thought, well, this meditation, no difference from deep sleep. You know, that time you stop sinking. Anyway anyway, that’s what that’s what I what I thought in the way I heard it. So then Sino was very interested to do that kind of style. So she asked Lama a few times, but Lama didn’t accept.
Then I don’t know I don’t know whether that was good or bad. I’m not sure what but I had interest to because reading this, you know, reading this for some time. So so I had interest to to do that. Then because Lama didn’t accept it all. Then she asked me to, so I asked Lama.
So the Lama said, maybe if you think of benefit, you can do it. So then we did a couple of course. So we did we did the so we did the first course. There’s two pages. One line on property, I think there were some there’s more lines on hell.
There’s four lines on the hell. I think maybe five, six lines on the hell on the hell suffering. That’s the largest one. Then maybe a few words on common. I’m showing two pages.
There was one nun, one American nun. They’ve not met didn’t met for many, many years. So that was during those time. I don’t know what happened. So she helped her.
And then I think it was Annalene. I’m not sure. Anyway, so so I did the course did the course. Then the people came from Bikaya with a Zangol course, you know, this happened to course that came from there. Then I don’t know.
Are these two days course? I’m not sure. Five days or two days, I’m not sure. Then so one evening was Botichita. So they got very so they got very inspired.
So it’s part of course, that time, I don’t know how many hours. That I don’t have that happy to that time. Anyway, so and then Gina was completely astonished. It was completely astonished. So she so I went to to have dinner with Lama.
So she came and she was completely astonished. This so short of surprise. But then that then then started because that is the second course. That time, there was a maximum Italian who was director of interest. Obviously, he was there, Luca, I think, and his wife.
Yes. Peter Ketch was that was I think probably Peter Ketch who was the director of material project, was there maybe hypermite there also. Second course. But the second course, I did not get it complete because I think I had a karma. I had to go somewhere for teachings or something to receive teachings.
I had to go to India, I think. So I didn’t get so I think maybe lama may have completed. So it’s that’s how it’s a common course. So then they we should do two one month course. Then we will start to travel in the west.
And then, of course, as you know, the center started, you know, people coming to course. And of course, the say, if they found some benefit in their life, then course, then that’s how percent the study. So then we it’s only one course because of traveling the western. So until there’s up to seven calls, I always had the feeling that what even people, you know, say, oh, that’s good. You know, how this fantastic blah blah blah.
But in my heart, there was this wasn’t this wasn’t me. Islam is, you know, given the teaching. So I always had that feeling. But then I think after seven course, then I can stop that feeling. And then after that, those feeling that, you know, I was me.
So when people say, blah blah blah, yeah, it was me. It’s a this what what I think in my heart. But after that, probably, Maybe something went wrong, somebody or something. So maybe the sign, I’m not sure. But this this feeling So, yeah, after seven o’clock something like that, then SMC stopped.
So, the from this lama, Ka Ching Shi also, whose name is here, So what I think is so the Kapliancyourses and then the and the starting center from the students in the Western and all that. All these teachings happening in the centers. So I think basically by this lamas teaching, so and that, of course, without of course, it wouldn’t happen. So even to read his teaching wouldn’t happen. So anyway, sort of that.
So I thought maybe we since we’re reading the name, Katchen H. Shelton, Okay. Mhmm. I take for myself for responsibility for liberating all trans migratory beings and to quickly achieve the common path, in particular, glorified unification of Mahāmudrā. Please ask my body in the father’s holy body, my speech in you, the father’s holy speech, my mind in you, the father’s holy mind, to quickly become inseparable.
Yes, I mentioned that many preparation for that, I mentioned, I concluded the good portion and the good heart and how they are helping each other. Good good heart for each other. And the good heart, then that is that might good heart causes to practice to correct the word versus trend because for the benefit to be able to benefit of certain beings, you see, they have realization of path enlightenment, then the word versus trend, correct the word versus trend. So the so before that, I I emphasize the karma and morality. And So the reason why after that, emphasize good heart.
So without a good heart, without motivation, bodhicitta, then without motivation, bodhicitta, if the motivation to practice to practice morality will be only renunciation of saṃsāra. So what you achieve is only liberation from saṃsāra, you see. That not only that, not enlightenment. And so but if the motivation is a bodhicitta, then not only practicing morality and everything can cause to enrich enlightenment, enable enlightenment or something like that. Why the the reason why I concluded good heart was that.
There’s a, like, limited skies, broader view broader benefit, you see, that helps that that helps in many ways to bring all the success. You know? So by doing the by by training the mind in the guru devotion that Buddha, seeing Buddha, the reasonings, so analytical and experimentation is explained here. Starting with the eight benefits, the devoting virtual friend. And then, of course, without having Guru, you wouldn’t have all that.
And then mistakes, then after one has found Guru make mistakes. The relationship, the virtual friend, all the air shortcomings. Then devotion versus trying to thought and action. So the thought, then mind training the root training the devotion, which is the root. Then also remembering guru’s kindness.
Then the, say, respect, rights. And then the train monitoring the root, the devotion, then why why this need to reasons need to look at the Guru Buddha. How one can do that? How to do that? So then how to do that has for our client.
So I like that. Guru Buddha accepted the Buddha. And then the Guru vajra accepted the Guru vajra. And then they could do all the Works works for the works of the Buddha, Buddhist sapras. So each outline means, you know, benefit or working for ourselves.
That guiding. There’s nothing definite in the, say, view. You can’t see mistakes in one’s view. See mistakes in one’s view, you can’t use that. Can’t use it as a logic to say that it’s an ordinary being and all those reasonings.
Then remember remember the kindness, general respect, the kindness of the traditional Dharma, dressing the mind, then inspiring you, drowning you, inspiring the sabbath by giving food and food and clothing, gifts, you know, parents also. To to practice practice to follow. Then the voting was a friend of the action. Then obtain obtaining the advice exactly as that right instructions given. That’s the main one.
The next one is offering service aspect. And then next one, if one does have material, then to not collect merit not collect merit and then offering, things like that. So, however, the realization that one could knew that one training this in in until from bottom of from deep from deep very deep from also heart, from bottom of heart, without without one single question, without one single doubt question at all. That this is definitely Buddha. So one guru is all the Buddha.
One guru is all the Buddha. That one one Buddha is all the guru. Whether one has one guru, one has many guru. So even even one has many guru, the one Buddha is all the guru, and one guru is all the Buddha. So that that so many water streams and rivers come from all over the come from all over many directions, but goes in the ocean.
So one, so that like that water, even one drop you take from the ocean is everything. That’s everything. All the different reverse, whatever, can come from many directions. So this is one drop that you take from there. It’s everything.
So having this having this definite understanding from from your from our side, Not just feeling not just only a few hours feeling like this or a few days feeling like this, but very stable. Uses when you remember, he uses a monk’s coat, a coat. They were in the. So when you remember your coat, you remember without effort, you remember the cover of the coat, the yellow cloth, you know, the coat, the mask coat. Then there’s a yellow cloth, the woolen, you know, that thing inside this cup, cover yellow yellow cloth.
So when you remember the coat and at home, you have a coat. You know? When you remember, you remember this. It’s yellow. It comes together.
So like that. So use example. So anyway so one wants to see the guru. Mhmm. One wants to see the guru.
One will think the guru. One will remember guru. One one. See the guru. One one think when we are the guru or practice, one one remember guru.
You see, it’s all comes together there. One is with all the Buddha. That is Buddha. That’s one that’s all that’s all the Buddha. That’s one is all the Buddha.
That’s all the Buddha. So no need effort at all. No question at all. So no doubt. No question at all.
Then also, in a day, think when you do satana or enable the energy, that’s sort of guru. So same here, generalization, understanding, what The aspect of deity, peaceful, whatever, all this peaceful, but what they are, who is it? Same. So even even you see mistakes even you see mistakes, you hear mistakes, you see mistakes in the action of the guru. But but because you have realization, it is Buddha, so there’s no there’s no belief.
There’s no belief. You see, because of what you what you have realization what you have is no mistakes, only qualities. So this is what you have that is the realization what you have. So even in the appearance, in the view, you hear mistakes, want to see mistakes. How you see that?
How you see that? It’s just an act. An act. You don’t believe. You don’t think.
You don’t believe from the heart or there’s a real mistake. So what you see is an act, like theater, an act. An act. And either as like central nectar said, either it’s done, it must have some meaning why this is done, Some purpose, some benefit to or particular to those to that particular benefit. So or or Think there might be, you know, special purpose that for thinking that or or this is, you know, approach this is a view this is view of my impurement, my mistaken thought impurement.
Impure, comma, my mind’s obscured. So impure, karma, this is a view. This is a projection view of my impure, karma, see impure mind. So so it doesn’t so seeing mistake, hearing mistakes, it doesn’t having delusion, having suffering, mistaken action. It it doesn’t it doesn’t it doesn’t it doesn’t disturb your depression.
Deportions were firm, like mountain. It doesn’t disturb to lose devotion. Because without realization, definite understanding, so we see what one one here or see mistakes. So the what has a understanding along with that, how you how you feel with that is like this. So therefore, doesn’t it doesn’t affect to your it doesn’t affect your doesn’t affect doesn’t doesn’t cause damage, doesn’t cause it doesn’t become obstacle for your devotion, to lose devotion.
So repeating again, it is useful that as I mentioned the example, one container, one liquid appeared for the water. For who don’t have merits to see water, see appears passing blood to the preppers. We have more merits and it appears nectar to the devils. And then for the Buddhas who have complete pure mind, it appears a purest nectar. One object, how the object appears is according to the karma, how much the mind of the karma is pure and how much is impure.
So this is very important. This is a very, very, very essential point. So this is a great key for understanding good version practice, key to open, we see, understand the say, good version practice to And that’s one thing. The other one so therefore, that’s one thing. The other one, the other one, the Buddha.
So the so this is this is from how the object appeared. K? The other one, Buddha manifest for the higher Buddha sapras, and that’s part of Buddha. For the lower Buddha sapras, ordinary Buddha sapras, they manifest. Okay.
After that, more obscure one, more in more obscure one, then you see manifest. Then ordinary being, not in aspect of Buddha. Ordinary being definition of ordinary being is having mistakes, Having delusion, having suffering, you see, having mistakes in action. So that’s the definition of ordinary aspect. That’s what I said during the Our Dama’s operation, the second or third, I’m sure, comment from Guru Puja.
So that was a great that was a great Hello. See, the teaching is great. Releasing the knot, like thread that when, you know, I say, what is the knot as a mess in the knot. So, like, releasing the like, he opening the door of the, you know, museum or something, you see. So so in the ordinary ordinary human form, even who don’t have karma even who don’t have karma to see in human form, ordinary human form, ordinary human form, you see, ordinary form having mistakes, okay, having suffering.
Even from who don’t have that, even the karma can manifest into dogs like Asaṇga. Asaṇga tried to achieve Buddha about twelve years to retreat, but didn’t see every three years and he left something that he left. Got discouraged and then nothing happened. He left and he come another sign he saw, inspired him to come back and continue retreat. And then again, nothing happened.
He went back and also another sign and then came, inspired him, come back. So twelve years, then I have nothing happened. Then he saw a road in the road, wounded dog, lower part of the border full of maggots. Make it make it, you know, this worm. Wanna meet a rat in the world.
Make it full of maggots. So then then feeling unbearable compassion, then he give up himself. He cut the flesh from the leg spread out. When he went to pick up worms by closing eye, then he could not touch with the tip of tongue because he felt very fragile, my crush with the finger. So he went to pick up worms with the tip of tongue.
So he could not touch could not touch. Suddenly opened eyes, then it’s no longer the wounded dog, the material Buddha. And so so is so is he before he saw before he saw what he saw is a wounded dog, just ordinary, you know, just ordinary I said, just dog, not not human being, but dog. So even that’s a wounded, filled with maggots, very suffering. Awful.
But because he generate incredible compassion, compassion, sacrifice the life. You see, cut it flesh from his body for the mechanism of that. Unbelievable, unbelievable, unlimited karma is purified. The filament is purified. So therefore, the next minute is from Maitreya Buddha.
Now that impure appearance, the seeing dog and wounded, even that wounded dog, is very suffering. It’s very suffering. So that impure appearance stopped because because because the the impure mind was you see, the the the karma obscuration which projects that is purified. It’s purified. So now you see only pure.
Now you see material with that. So here’s a very good example. So now came by. He was going to put the his last practice is the before becoming enlightened. The tantric conducts, to engage tantric conducts before becoming enlightened.
So he was going to Oddi, this place Oddi. I think in India, I think. So so there was a big river. Before crossing the river, there was one woman sitting there, you know, the totally the leprosy disease, past blood coming out. And and the past blood coming out, she leprosy thing is covered.
So she was she asked him if you can take me other side of the river, but the yogi didn’t take it here. He went straight. And after some time, he said, the monk living takes about, came and then saw this lady and this late this lady asked him, see if you can take it outside. Then this lady so this monk felt unbearable compassion. Unbearable compassion.
So even though his monk cannot touch with that, is it is the unbearable compassion, you know, about himself. So he selfish himself to to to care her to care her. No concern about the getting the sickness in the liver system. It’s all the passing blood order. Unbearable compassion to take take I say, to carry her across the river.
So he carried. Then in the middle of the river, this lady, this woman, then appeared to him appeared to him, Deity. Then then Deity took her took took him with the same body in the pure land, but you can pure land. You see, that they miss them in that life definitely become enlightened. So here, same.
So the it it is an enlightened being. It is an enlightened being, same as the dog, you see. In reality, the Buddha enlightened being. But because from obscuration, so it appeared well, they they, you know, very, very, very ugly lady. Mhmm.
You know? Leprosy is significant. And that then, you see, because himself, unbearable compassion himself, And she she had, you know, take care of. Then during the duration, he’s taking care telling her, then so much, you know, so in a lot of say, an an impossible department that may come up during that time. So then so that impure comma is purified.
You see? They see ordinary lady so ugly, you know, for sicknesses, you know, from discussions and then you can’t under touch this Purify. That’s purified. Now you see deity. So same.
So you see now, now here is the now here, this is another way of talking. You know? Other ones has appeared. Okay? Now here, so so you see.
So now here is the point. If the mind is not purified you see, even Buddha has of qualities. I mean, it’s a all perfect power. Everything all the qualities completely. Nothing more visible.
Wisdom on this mind, compassion, power, everything. You see, there’s nothing there’s nothing you can do if the power of mind if the mind is not purified, you can’t make the mind is not safe. There’s nothing you can do that to show pure. No mistakes. You see?
They can’t can’t do anything. They cannot see. But but can’t observe cannot see. So therefore, so can’t really cannot cannot just cannot see. It’s not the Buddha doesn’t have doesn’t wish to show purity.
Doesn’t wish not that. Not that. It’s can’t sit. Blunt can’t sit. Only to, you know can can can’t see it, you see, in the as for the Buddha.
So so so therefore so therefore, what’s left is only to manifest in the ordinary form, having delusion, having suffering, having a mistake in action. All that stuff is left. All that aspect is left. All that method is left to guide the sentient being. So therefore so therefore for us so therefore for us.
So without so Without showing this aspect, the ordinary aspect of mistakes, The ordinary aspect. Say, I have mistakes. What say. So so therefore they so therefore they’re so precious. See what I’m saying?
This aspect, you see. Without this without this aspect without this aspect, I’m thought lost. I’m thought lost. No guide. Thought lost.
Todd Todd lost, like the baby left in the desert, hot desert. Baby left there. Say, left out of that hot desert or in the forest, the tigers, so many beast animals. No one to guide, no to protect them. So completely careless.
However, without this, I’m totally lost. Careless. You see? So therefore so therefore that showing this as ordinary aspect. You know, which means which means is having mistake.
Having mistake. Delusion, suffering, mistake. Sure. This me. Only truth is only truth is that I can receive the vows and teachings and these instructions.
I will only only through this only through only with this only only with this only through this, only with this, then ever then guide guide me to happiness, future life, from Loreal, liberation, enlightenment. So therefore, this aspect, therefore, showing me the ordinary aspect. They have no mistake. These mistakes. There are these are there for this is an ordinary aspect, no mistake.
Show me this ordinary aspect, you see. Mistake. Mistake. Mistake. Having having these mistakes.
So precious. So precious. Unbelievable precious. Yeah. So precious.
Unbelievable precious. Unbelievable kind. Unbelievable kind. In each second in each second, even I offer whole sky filled filled with gold, diamond gold, diamonds, silver, even with grand jewel, even offer. Not enough.
In each second, showing me you see you see, guiding me and showing me this ordinary aspect of mistakes, you know, which can guide me, which is the only way to guide me. In each second, you know, showing this with that. So, you know, to repair kindness. If I offer a sky fluid, gold diamond, which kind of jewel is nothing. So precious.
So money so precious. So, you know, so the you see. So kind. So kind, so precious, so kind. First of all, kind, you know, some some numbers of.
And then have that, you know, some precious thing of. So maybe think first, how precious it is. Well, then I think how kind is. So I could learn how that how important is even each second. Yeah.
How important is even each second. No question about days, minutes, hour. You know? You know? That which the only one is the only way to get me.
So see, there’s not. Rather than this, animals like that, birds, worms, they can’t can’t recognize. Can’t see pigeons. And that more pew, I can see. So you can see now how precious it is, how unbelievable precious it is.
So can do that also with the one year of the of the guru. Something very short like this. Something very short like that. Anyway, so maybe quite close to take my impressions. Getting close to take my impressions.
So anyway, I didn’t get to reach to actual guru devotion subject, which I expected, the most important subject in this because otherwise, mother without contemplations, even though the mind is empty, eyes empty, everything’s empty, but that doesn’t mean we see empty. Even though it sounds empty, that doesn’t mean we see. Yes. So much obscuration. Blocked to see.
Anyway, so it is I mean, it’s not something very far, something you see. Your your self is empty. You know, your mind is empty. You see? But it takes time to as long as we don’t purify, as long as the really deep devotion, they can it’s a blessing.
We want that it’s a blessing. Buddha guru or Buddha. And strong people know that. Then cannot click. Can’t click.
It’s it’s not something very far. Know? See, something like mountain you climb. But if the it’s just a question of clicking. Taking the Just a question of recognition.
They have false view, and then it’s just a minute to realize emptiness. It’s but the man is the man is, you know, heavily obscured and there’s no all those cost conditions. Then It takes so then you see then it just become words, and it takes a long time. But once those cause conditions gathered, you know, that changes the mind, Then then it doesn’t take much time. Just It is said by this great lama, Dvaja Brahmacha.
Dvaja Brahmacha said, a person who has lot of imprint left left on the mind left on the mind realizing left lot of positive imprint. Lot of positive imprint left on the mind. From past, a lot of, you know, the Tibetan word imprint of us of emptiness. Who has a lot of imprint, then who has a lot of merit, who has so much merit. It’s like your funding, like material project, you see.
You need to how many dollars? Let me see. Anyway, dollars two hundred million two hundred dollars two hundred million dollars fifty million what? Fifty million dollars Anyway, two hundred million and a half. So I don’t know how much that is.
Two hundred million and a half. Well, that’s just rough. So that’s what needs the what’s planned project was planned. So same to realize realize emptiness, to realize mantra, you need so much merit merit behind, merit like a fund. Here, you need to fund.
You to merit. Somebody married. Yeah. And then yeah. This and so expressed that for that person, for a person who has a lot of imprint left in the past of emptiness and there was a lot of merit, no difficulties to realize, no difficulties to realize emptiness.
That’s what he said. So it’s like that. Actually actually, to realize emptiness in one way is nothing. For for some people, it’s like, you know, like like a hard rocky mountain, very hard rocky mountain. That’s what something kind of extremely difficult.
You know, sometimes I was like impossible when it will happen, but but in the one hand, on one hand, realizing impenetrises, that is not that much difficult. I think many people, it happens. But the but the problem is unable problem is not just not not first not to see not realize. Able to see emptiness. The problem is unable to continue the experience.
The big problem is unable to continue the experience. A machine, you need to accomplish one point of concentration. So without that, you can’t even have the experience, then it’s gone. You can’t develop. So you need the one partner’s concentration.
So you need to you need to develop the one partner concentration, to develop the wisdom, realize. So in other hand, it’s many people, I think, they have experienced the correct one. I mean, there are many wrong views, but correct one. But then unable to there’s no concentration, so that’s what it will cause difficulties. So of course, unable to look continuously.
In the of all the in the house of everyone in the world, all the leaders and all the terrorists and all those people who are harming others, claiming some of the violence. In the different heart, that left second, Do you think about the special education? Just the last one, whatever universe I’m born in, whatever universe, world, country. Okay. The last one, whatever universe, world, country, area, or place.
Something left something left there when you recite. If there’s something left. Due to the merits of three times collected by me, Buddha’s, Bodhisattvas, none other sentient beings, wherever I am, whatever universe, world, country, area, or place, just by my being there, may the sentient beings who are in that universe, world, country, area, or place, never be reborn in lower realms. May they immediately be liberated from all disease, spirit harm, negative karma, and defilements. And may they achieve enlightenment quickly, but actualize in the whole path, especially bodhicitta?
A short one. That’s a short question. I need to know the short one. It fits tonight. There was exist what is being labeled by mind.
That which is a hallucination is which is appeared which is appeared not made and labeled by mind. So that that their voice is talking nonexistent empty. Meta I, who is this is what’s merely labeled by mind. But what is the hallucination? What’s what’s appeared not merely labeled by mind?
So they were starting announce an empty. Achieve good versus enlightenment. That exists, there is what is merely labeled by mind, what doesn’t exist, There is hallucination, what appears not to be labeled by mind, so that’s thought of man as an empty. And lead sentient beings who exist, who are merely labeled by mind, who are sentient beings, which do not exist, is what has appeared appeared not merely to our mind, who appeared not merely to our mind. So that hallucination.
That one is hallucination and total non existent empty. Two, that was enlightenment which existed, so it’s made labelled by mind, but what are the faults, what is the hallucination, what is appeared not made labelled by mind. That’s, yeah, And to harness the hallucination is nonexistent, empty. Who exist, so it was merely by mind. But what appeared not mere level of our mind, that’s the heartless nation.
The total amount was empty. Did did all the measures and to be able to follow the same way as three times as dedicated measures. So maybe the maybe the dedication was done already. Yeah. We did that.
We did that. I see. Yeah. There’s also Papaji was uncle died. I don’t I don’t don’t recall the name.
There’s something many syllables, so I can’t remember. Anyway, so I want to say this. In the section the section d, you can include this. That dedication, you know, two or three times. So may it cost it cost in to be a permanent common and to be never better born loss.
And then and to cause the generative fate in the universe, and immediately cause a lot of kinds of compassion, it’s in hearts. To be able to fulfill all their wishes for happiness instantly, immediately, according according to the dharma. So they can also edit can also edit that with along that. Anybody who my anybody who’s anybody who’s sick anybody who who is sick anybody anybody that I hear sick may cause that the best image get recovered. May cause by my hearing, somebody sick has caused that person that sentient beings image to get recovered.
By my hearing, somebody died, it caused it immediately to be born purely and by sentient beings became enlightened. So to edit that, to edit to edit to edit these two in that package. In that package. In that package of dedication to it is too. When I do the more elaborate food offering, so I just include that.
These two things and then human beings but something was born human being but no person practiced Dharma. So first, my hearing is my hearing is somewhat sick because that’s the immediate recovery. And my hearing is somewhat died because of the immediate recovery. We can include those two, you see, here in this within this this particular special indications. So that’s very, very good, good.
Very good. If we generate, we should everyday like this. Then when you the minute as soon as we hear, then later, you see, it can have a strong, good effect. As soon as you hear somebody sick, then that it helps that person recover. Same.
The person if you hear somebody died, then, you know, so, like, if so many people died in the wars and when you’re here, and that will affect them. Because if you pray every day like this, then that get power. You know? That that’s a very good. But oh, what I thought it.
So anyway, some mentorship with the some mentorship with the practice to be done for the for the father pathway. I just pray already the did that already to the father. Anyway, just just wishing something could happen. But some of course, our practice can dedicate some like that in a particular time. That might be see maybe I don’t know.
This difficult time. So that’s how good. By completing the lives of the House of Alls of Family members and all of us here, and House of Alls members of our organization, the Indian cost of all those working service here and in house of all the students and benefit of organization. And then and also to give up their life to organization during service in the image. Would like to leave a second in this very lifetime.
Whatever merits we collect, then multiply one hundred thousand times. So the name name, mantra, the last Buddha’s name, not only it’s made it one hundred thousand times, but also all the plans that we did to exercise this helps to exercise. Somebody’s Somebody. Warawong people, please leave first. So starting five thirty tomorrow morning.
