About this talk. In this over-three-hour Mahāmudrā teaching, Lama Zopa Rinpoche opens with a striking paradox: how enlightened beings manifest as completely ordinary people—indistinguishable from those they help—and why this is crucial for understanding guru devotion. He then methodically unfolds the entire path to enlightenment in one lifetime: renunciation of saṃsāra, bodhicitta, the necessity of highest tantra, and the two stages (illusory body and clear light). Central throughout is Guru Yoga (Lama Chopa), presented as a complete, purifying practice containing all essential elements. He also addresses initiation and samaya vows pragmatically: what to do if you cannot maintain all vows perfectly. Death is reframed as part of the path. Intended for practitioners preparing for higher tantric initiation.

So the girl against the Sogothian practice that we’re going to do is on a separate sheet. This is a small folded a five sheet called a great blissful festive wheel of assembly and a dope to Samsāra six realms. So there’s the integration and the initiation in given the idea of the whole path and the particular relative to each initiation of that. And and so and the initiation, this whole integration of the whole space part. Explain in brief that.
So the setting up the meaning of the initiation setting up in the gradual path in the gradual path. So that’s that’s what it is. So So main reason to follow the mayanatha, that is to benefit for certain beings. So so the compassion towards other sentient beings is, you know, she is suffering, feel unbearable. So, you see, the greater compassion.
Seeing something being soft, you know, suffering some sort of thing, from there also. Then how you can so therefore how you will benefit them is that you see, you need you need to take the Buddha’s holy body form. Dharmakhya, if you just Dharmakhya, the sentient being cannot seek and communicate. So in end, you see, so to to the main thing to achieve the benefit is the the form. So So achieve that, we need to teach dharmakaya.
So with dharmakaya manifest, the higher but pure form, another aspect of Buddha and then also ordinary form, know, ordinary beings whose mind is obscured and who cannot see aspect of Buddha pure form, in various ordinary form, all sorts of nothing definitely. You know, in any kind of form that fits exactly that same thing being to the level of mind, know, the level of quality of mind, you know. Yeah, the so among the impure among the current, I say, current obscuration, you know, whose mind is obscured among those, they are, say, very heavily obscured, however many different or they are, you know, numbers in a different kind. So then for manifested in a human form or in a human form having suffering and that, you know, delusion, having suffering. Just just just like exactly it’s ordinary being, you is it showing exactly as it?
You know, the some medicine some of the some of things that come a dog, cats, whatever, but who manifest dog, exactly behave dog. You know, say, barking and, you know, eating anyway, drink, whatever the dog does, exactly behave. So that’s what it means to minimization. So ordinary being ordinary living there, you see, so having, you see, delusion, having ignorance, you know, You see? Yeah.
Like that. You know? The say. Like that. Delusion, suffering, and mischievous.
Exactly. And, you know, You see, not showing hard and not because it doesn’t fit, know, there’s no common procedure. Not hard than that. No more proof than that. So see.
So it manifest manifest ordinary bodhisattva, exactly ordinary bodhisattva. You know? So so you may think the you may think you may not have a realization of high bodhisattva. You know? How would it be showing exactly no other higher understanding or something?
It behaves exactly. So, like so I manifest child, you know, born a child and cry, make caca, p p, and, you you behave exactly like child. So, yeah. So any form, you see so manifest means that to do exactly, you know, what what suffering how normally they do. So that so because only in that way, they can help others.
Only this way they can see, they can communicate, and communicate, communicate only this way you can. So anyway, so it’s it’s very easy to believe from the others, you know, oh, this, you know, definitely ordinary being doesn’t know and hire. It’s not happy to suffer. You know? It’s no idea.
My understanding. So because it’s behave exactly as well. It was the ordinary self, behave exactly like that. It doesn’t show anything special. Having a children’s or anything, you see.
So any so anything. So some is a butcher, you know, for some butcher. Right? So exactly butcher. What normally what butcher does.
Then the prostitute, you know, manifested for some post symptom, for someone’s attachment, whatever is it. Then, you know, whatever the normal thing, just exactly behaving that way. So so the the other being who don’t who don’t appear you know, who is the one with the with the mind, not pure mind, just on this as a see exactly behaving like that, you see, then see one of that. Doesn’t see anything more than that, higher than that interview of that person. So like that.
So all these great beings, you know, in the past life, all the enlightened beings, but when they’re ranking it, know, the children. Yeah. So do you know what the children does normally? You know? Yeah.
It’s like that. Trying what normal children behave like, you know, just exactly. Even though in a reality enlightened being. So, say, Sorry about that. For example, as soon as the court office says, well, I don’t know this.
I don’t know that. You know, quite often, you see, when you’re conversation or in the teaching sometimes or there’s some they this is not sure something that many times, you see. Or when you I mean to go with things, so I don’t know, you see like that. So anyway, so then that time, of course, if you have pure mind seeing real genres or real Buddha, then of course, you wouldn’t have that thought. But if you don’t have that pure mind, you would think, oh, really soon it doesn’t notice.
So you might think, you see. So you see it’s a sort of ordinary being. Yeah. And that’s yeah. Anyway and and and some you see, for certain people.
Like, showing aspect of upset or, you see, disturb or upset. And is it showing dark dark face? But that however, that’s it’s all it’s all a sentiment’s view. And let’s see, of course, it is done to benefit to the symptom brings and particular set particular symptom brings needed that aspect. Need that, you see, such aspect and segmentation.
So one might think One might think if one doesn’t have it, you know, realization of this. If one doesn’t have human mind seeing, realizing Buddha, then but, oh, someone says, you know, angry, you might think like that. As if common people would think that that, you know, do not know. You see? So so so we see ordinary form like having discriminated conflict like I was saying.
So So so show ordinary Buddhists happen. You see that do not show at all having, you know, having achieved the high power qualities. You never show, you see. To never show never show to those to say they they never show or those they never, you know, do not do not see. You know, never show up with them, like, they don’t come out to see.
You know? So when I come out, they can see it’s just that. As body. So, you know, So, like, in the view, it appears hundred percent is your neighbor’s supper. You see?
Hundred percent. Like that in the field. So again, maybe this explanation help also the assessment group. This is very important subject, which brings everything successful all the relaxation of enlightenment to achieve the extensive benefit to the sentient beings. So so, yeah, part of that.
It was part of the subject. So so now so I need to achieve to be able to benefit. So objective of our life, the objective is to follow my own path, complete the work for others and to meet. For that, we need to achieve the we need to achieve the unified state of unified, say, the stage of the no more learning, universal no more learning as we need to achieve that. So for that for that, then that is only possible if you that is only possible if you only if you practice higher tu, even the lower thang tu, know, alone cannot be contrary to that.
Because as I mentioned, gross mind doesn’t go to enlightenment. Only subtle mind gross subtle subtle mind only that goes to enlightenment. So therefore and what makes possible to what makes possible to exercise that and so sees gross mind is only in the highest tantra has that method. So therefore, we need to practice the highest tantra, you know, for that. So so in order to achieve the unified universal normal learning, the dharmakaya and the dharmakaya, the complete pure the treatment to the performance in the complete pure body of mind.
Then The clear light and illusive body, the metamorphism. So what makes possible to achieve that is this the the unification in the the inefficient learning and inefficient normal learning. What makes to what what makes possible to do that is by receiving the fourth initiation, the last one, world initiation. So that makes to achieve possible to achieve this unification CT two, a unification of, say, learning and unique machine learning. So So enough to achieve the innovation innovation learning.
In order to achieve the unification of learning, then you see, one need to achieve separately, individually, the clear light and release the body. You see, preliminary before the achieving part of We need to achieve the car. You should bought it separately. So new one new one need to achieve pure illicit body and clear light of meaning. You know?
So what makes it a pure illicit body? Pure, see, pure by having abandoned, you know, removed the disturbance or obscuration when deep. So then what caused this? That is by the clear of meaning. So the clear light of meaning is the one that that removes the completely the disturbance of obstruction.
You know? Bad. I’m sure. So so now achieving the pure illusive body and the care at meaning, then as it then as a preliminary before that, then let’s see. You need to you need to achieve the impure illicit body.
The third five stages, the third one, need to achieve the impurities of the body. That which so here here is the point. One has I think one main explanation that let’s see. That part in the part the part of the text, you need to correct merit for three hundred gradients. So now here, the imputed body is the one that the the imputed body is the one that helps that that makes to complete the collecting merits you see in the Parliamentary and the Path.
The first kind of is great eon merit the the, say, part of merit, the Mahāyāna part of merit. From there, up to right hand path is the first duration, the collecting the the first khanallah’s duty on merit. Then from there to the eight of the eight booming, the second color is getting merit on the right hand part. Then then the from there, this channel booming, so from eight to channel booming. So the third the conscious care of the eon.
So all those three all those three conscious care of eons merits. So you see, so all that is the impunity of the body, this one, you see, helps to complete all those merits, you see, from, let’s say, from the path of Mahāyāna path of medicine, the path of some kind of music, and all that. So in a in a very in a very short in a in a very brief lifetime of degenerated time. Sort of that. In such a in in a very short duration of life, you see, where the primary end of which takes such long like that.
But here, in a very short lifetime that the by achieving the impure impure able to finish that all that much merit to see to collect. So now not which of this is and this the body, and then the preliminary. What makes to attend that is the clear light of example, which is achieved by precisely meditating in the virtual body, the center channel. I mentioned before, the inside the body channel. The tummo means that never.
But however, the the main thing is that the heart. Even you start with that, but how you did let’s see. The main one is the heart of the heart. So through that instrumentation, then all the wind from Channel. The channel one thousand seventy two, as I mentioned.
So the wind, right left, you know, channel draw into the center channel, absorb absorb the heart, you know, the indistincter drop, all the wind. So from that so from this evolution, you then one is able to extract the highlight. They went into the same channel abide and absorb. So as a like, indestructible seat was inside the the measuring from the two breasts measuring from the two breasts, the heart. So the center channel, the intestinal seed.
So then comes the realization, the clear light of example, the oscillation of mind. So what drives that is the doing vital recitation at the heart, The budget recitation. Then the as a of speech. So the what so what makes possible to achieve this? The clear light in the user body, you see.
So the by the third the wisdom initiation, that’s what makes us to achieve the clear light. And then by the second initiation, the sixth initiation cost to achieve the illicit body. Then, of course, for that then to slide this part, then, of course, course, need the preliminary oscillation of body generation state. So what makes so there’s a gross gross there’s a gross and subtle generalization. So what makes possible to be receptacle to to to this realization by the vase initiation.
So what so vase initiation or what it what it does. So it has support all from that virus even that we are able to achieve this. To maintain on general state, we have to have a realization. Then then the and and all this, the main one, what are my success for this? Then, of course, the by receiving initiation from bachelor master, they’re taking the hungry vows.
Then to to take hungry vows, that depends on preliminary taking Buddhist vows. So it depends on that. Then to to be because then all this all perimeter for all this, of course, then you need to see. Give up one give up give up the eye. So cherish others in bodhicitta.
So attitude to practice attitude to practice all these, but but but that attitude to see. It’s a preliminary. With that, let’s take practice six parameters, you see. And then the so there was a buffer. And then to to to attain such as pleasure part of the higher capable of being, then that’s gonna permit Having trained the mind in the graduated path, middle capable of being in general, left some left some sort of behind.
Renounced. However, the desire realm or the desire realm itself, all the pleasures of desire realm, and as well as the form realm formulas or devil serum formulas serum. Even the formulas serum where there’s no suffering pain, suffering changes, temporisms are present, suffering changes. The you know, those which are suffering the assumption of pleasure, which are suffering changes. There’s a third, suffering pervasive compounding suffering.
The IVS and the control of karma delusion contaminated CD of disturbing present that is because of that, the IVS you see according to the IVS circles again to the next slide. Again, see the circle to next slide. Then you see and then that. When there comes other, circle to next. So that, you see.
So, you know, so without renunciation of saṃsāra in in general part, you know, and without reason realizing, without directly perceiving emptiness, you know, without that, this is what happened. Even by being born in the formless realm, you know, has the realm of saṃsāra, you know, after that karma’s finished, you know, settle again. So, however, realizing not only desire but form formless rhythm, All this realm of saṃsāra, only only completely only nature of suffering. And so total disgusting, They could not find can’t find attraction even in a dream for one second even for one second for the all these desire the desire realm, promise realm, promise realm, all this by discovering how there’s only total initial suffering. So you’re going to find that passion even in the dream, even for one second.
So that that’s renunciation of some sort is preliminary. But then to add that that then preliminary preliminary is a gradual part of the work, everything, and general. Renunciation to describe or in other words, mind which mind which is totally free from the attachment and the mind which is totally free from from the the grasping mind, the clinging and grasping of the this painful mind, the which which creates all the confusions, despite in the other life. So a lot of these so other other selfish. So that that satisfied the content mind, The free free mind from the attachment clinging to the slide.
So and I thought can you see? I think I think this should also include that so the relaxation is some type of thing. Trainings. And then the the non station to this life, then with that, you know, with that with that, say, the satisfied content of free mind, so free mind from the confusions. However, the with that, not only taking refuge but for Dharma Sangha, but following the advices, the karma, protecting karma, abandoning and virtue, practicing temperature.
However, the extraction from part of the lower capability in general. So we start beginning of the path with perfecting rebirth, all that. So all that all that lies all that depends, success of all that from pivoting, all that lies to the root of the talks expresses the root of the cat. So the the wording correct the wording. That’s all.
So here, Even Whether the teacher’s side, the it’s Buddha or not, whether whether Buddhists are not. However, the however, from the disciple side, say from however, from disciple side, chronically, I say chronically, deep looking at by looking free from all the mistakes and having all the having all the qualities. And by looking at Buddha, then you want to see training minded, that was Buddha. Then that way, so the disciple can become enlightened. The disciple can become if the disciple side practice well, can become enlightened even before the guru, before the person’s teacher become enlightened.
So this is yeah. So if before that that person’s teacher become enlightened, the the child can become enlightened much and can be enlightened first. Kuka Then able to enlighten, synchronize cougar. So then this then this disciple this this then then the objective of the life is succeed. Is that is it succeed?
Like, then you start you want starting you you enter in the prime primary school, say kindergarten from their primary school, high school, or even college or university, then you get degree. You know, the doctor or m b m FP other m b or whatever is it, PhD. Whatever is it. So that that objective. And That that able to do, you know, able to able to find job, to do jobs, whatever, make money or to teach others or whatever.
You see? So so, say, First of that so the so this way, the disciples the wish disciples, the that let’s see this. Wishes succeed. This way. This wish is, you know, it’s objective, succeed in class.
So that’s what’s needed. So that’s the whole point that is not here is not here is not the argument. Here is not the argument, you see. It is a Buddha that whether the teacher is Buddha or not, you know, debate is not a point of argument. You know, just practice.
In that point of argument. I see. So here, I would like to say something at this point. So this is the reason. So therefore, Of course, correct way correct way could yeah.
Could find it very difficult to talk about good devotion, very difficult to talk about guru devotion because you are teaching Dharma, because you are yourself engaged in teaching Dharma. They develop thought guru devotion, see that. So, however, of course, it is uneasy. But the correct way to do it is that with compassion to other with compassion to others. If others others didn’t know this, if others didn’t know this, they don’t know this, if they’re they’re completely ignorant, if you leave if you leave them if you leave them completely ignorant in this object, then there would make so much mistakes.
They they would they would all the truth, no matter how much they learn Dharma, other teachings how much they learn, how much they try to meditate, say live in the mountains, caves or you see noticing people and not eating food, not sleeping or whatever, Not seeing birds, not even seeing the birds, you know, not even coming out to see the birds. Anyway, so anyway, what if they receive it, they don’t know. So they will so they will construct they will make so much mistakes in their life. From beginning, they will make mistakes. From very beginning of the Dharma practice, they will make so much mistakes.
See, already already, you know, so many human commerce credits with lack of lack of understanding lack of understanding the good person. Of course, of course, you can’t talk about that from very beginning. Of course, it has to be suitable. It has to be the right I mean, it has to be at the right time. That, of course, provides the test.
Yeah. But however, generally speaking, therefore Lama Tsongkhapa is very wise that when he set up Lam Rim, of course, follow Lam Rim. So guru to version a guru to version subject brought at the very beginning. So that before you begin anything specific, so the person is fully aware, has a complete understanding of the teachings on the good version. So from very beginning, the person become very care.
Person knows why you have to pay most attention, what is the biggest obstacle for success. So person has already acknowledged. Already. So where you need pay most attention in the life of your effort and, you know, even cause life danger. However, you see so so that’s it.
So it helps them from very beginning to be correct. Start to start start good. Start a good life. Start to see pure practice of it. Yeah.
Not begin to not begin to not begin the life. Not begin to life with, you know let’s see. With some with some of the mistakes. Let’s see. Not that.
Begins life, you know, good, pure, you see? Safe. You see? Like that. So From very beginning, pure, clean life.
You see that that? Prack, you know, spiritual practice. So So in other traditions, the good version comes after, I think, refuge or after saṃsāra, talking about how saṃsāra nature I mean talking about shortcoming saṃsāra or the after refuge talking about the lower realms. Perfecting is usefulness difficult, those impairment especially impairment that especially impairment is that. So I think maybe I have to repeat some So I have it.
So as so with compassion, with care, with concern of other, with the concern of the symptom being the disciple to guide from not my mistake from the beginning and make them to fully aware. So the explaining good with the good version practice like that. Not so not not of course, not with the motivation that to receive respect to oneself or the advantage and get advantage of oneself, of course, then that’s, of course, then that’s not, see, commit can other commit, see, misused. But is it your concern of the Asian and being who are who are lying on you and to it’s a concern of them to guide. To be successful at Dharma, to be successful at any realization path, you know, in in in in a few words in a in short, a desire to be successful in the the attaining path, achieve liberation, enlightenment.
To achieve the goal, to to achieve the objective, you know, to to be able to perfect the word to certain means. So for that, so if you if you explain to compassion, I don’t I said that’s that’s perfect. That’s perfectly right. There’s there’s not any problem. But of course, you know, if they if they without that motivation, then it’s things I mean, of course, thinking.
Though the other the other thing is that of course, it is planned. Now there now there are so many Lamrim teachings and translated into in translated into English. So that and the the guru version practice, So commentaries and so many so the Certainly certainly, without much words of that, one is certainly being good example, being being very inspiring example to the to the disciple. Of course, that is being without much without many words, just being very good at very inspiring example to the Dharma, because of course, that’s one way. That’s not like before, not as many teachings on those subjects which they can find out.
So that that is not a good one, but I still of course but of course, still it depends on the disciple side that, you know, it’s a it’s dependent interpreter it depends on the interpretation of the the the disabled side interpretation. It’s just like the teach I think you probably heard the story many times. Like the teacher in Tibet, the in Tibetan monastery, the two disciples went to their home or somewhere very far. They come back. So they come back very, very far from their home or somewhere, you know, tired, was tired, exhausted.
So the teacher gave cold tea. The teacher gave cold tea. These two disciples, these two monks. So the one disciple the the first disciple oh, wait. Who doesn’t know which one is first?
The the the other the one disciple thought. There’s the one disciple got angry. The teacher, oh, we came so far, so tired. He kept even he said he said didn’t didn’t have even warm tea. Then the other child said, oh, the teacher is so kind so kind for us, you know.
He especially give us cold tea. He especially give us cold tea. So here’s a simple simple example. There’s also a responsibility from the See, it depends on how you depends on you depends on the disciple, interpretation of the individual, how you how you pack I mean, how you think. It’s all depends on that.
How you practice, how you you So you have to understand also that. So even as a so it’s like a girl, like a karma that Buddha, you know, Buddha, from his own side from his own side, it was enlightened enlightened being inconceivable numbers of, let’s say, years ago. You see? But again, like the karma, the Buddha’s attendant like the karma who served Buddha twenty two years, served who always everyday with Buddha, served twenty two years, didn’t see any quality. And he saw Buddha only liar.
He saw Buddha only liar. And I think his Hindu guru, you know, had one Hindu I think Hindu Buddha had more faith, you know, more faith than the Buddha. And the and the there’s some sort I don’t remember. Taking the guru was born there’s some there’s some interesting story. Anyway, the guru was born born then died and born.
Preta. Preta. So I think making noise in the road, making when the I think when monks was passing through, say, or the like karma. Anyway, they’re born as Prata in the in the road making, you know, noise. So the Buddha actually explained, you know.
So there’s some story there. I don’t I don’t remember. Something truly. Something I think they gave a brown sugar drink or something, you know, and then they there’s a Dutch you know, really, it doesn’t matter. Yeah.
Maybe some of you might remember the story. So anyway, so they don’t like to come up, you know, twenty two years with being Buddhist attendant, but it didn’t never saw any quality only like all those for three years. And that is because Buddha went for one day and the one one girl from the family offered a handful of grain, a handful of grain to the Buddha’s put in the bag Buddha’s begging bowl. And Buddha said, due to this karma, you will be enlightened. So it sounds like Buddha having no name, but I’m not sure exactly.
So Buddha has predicted the result that Buddha she will become enlightened. Same with the not names. I haven’t no name. So anyway, then he you see, he thought he thought this is too much. He thought Kapokam thought it’s too much.
Buddha is a flat he thought Buddha is flattering just because this girl gave and grow grand. So Buddha is, you know, making big things from that. It’s a flat train. Say what do you want? What’s the other word?
Flat train. So Buddha’s, you know, flattened the the the girl, you see. So it didn’t fit to him. So he told Buddhism. You know, Megan, who is then after that, you know, so he thinks how possible, you know, from this and, you know, give one hand to friend and bring Buddha.
Something like that. So so to because from his side, he never he never looked at the Buddha and never looked at his no mistake having on the quality. He didn’t ever practice that. He never tried his mind. So then only look at his mistakes, he discovered his what he saw.
That that’s what he saw for twenty two years, you know, one of them have mistakes like that. So that Then the then the opposite one is the the opposite one is the the middle part, as I mentioned. The opposite one is the The, you know, of course, in the west, of course, probably might converse in term might say abuse or so only scold, only be given hard time for years. Never giving it teaching initiative. So anyway, but the Miller River side, it’s an undisturable, unshakable devotion.
No. No change. No change. No change to medivist devotion. So here.
So in this way, in this way, the order through the tantra, it’s all supporting each other. No contradictory, only supporting each other. All the teachings of Buddha is for one person to achieve enlightenment. All the teachings of Buddha is only a support, you know, one person to achieve enlightenment. So everything completely, you see, feel that spot one person, situation.
So by having received the initiation, Continue like water like like a continuity flow of the river. So attempting continuously the profound yoga, the two stages. So after having this initiation. So then then retreat with the doing the practice. So the day is practice.
Then based on so the practicing yoga, profound yoga of the two stages based on the giving a samaya vowel like the the eyeball. So the evening hair growth, touch in eyeballs is sensitive. So so you protect the eye, you know, from dust or from anything, you protect the eye. So like that, with the keep the this way then this way. Other evolution enlightenment as plantar religious mamata in this very lifetime.
So those kralata, for example, kralata meaning those. Then say, I I even not it didn’t happen to achieve enlightenment in The best in future in this life. Then as I mentioned during the bowel, then within next slide. And I can practice the pad. However, it’s enlightenment within three lifetimes or seven large times.
All within sixteen lifetime. However, the it’s however, it’s it’s enlightened. So that it is it is said probably many of you might have heard that as soon as shown which are are often is a sound choice in the segment. Because I found this opportunity to set this or maybe also some sort of a mistake. Instead, because there was because there’s worry and fear of taking initiation and then unable to pick up the vows and the commitment and things like that.
The recycling power, I think you should consider the mantra or the prayer, not so much about the tongue to the bow. But from that, it’s mainly the prayer, which is just, you know, that you see that more afraid to do that. The basic ditung tu vows. There’s five types of Buddhist vows, and then this twenty two, that’s particular ones. However, So again here, what so what makes so what really makes to to each of the the the the tantric vows.
This this tantric vows is the most. That’s that’s what so always and always always we have to understand. Always we have to understand. So this is the one that makes to achieve enlightenment quickly. That’s about smiles.
So then the then the awareness comes in the everyday life, the spouse, and then, you know, the courage to practice comes. Otherwise, that is otherwise, that become kind of unknown or not taken care of. Or just just concerned just some prayer or mantra for a scientist. But all the rest is about have somehow have thought. However, that is when the song which is you say that by taking initiation, because of you know, the you know, so you took you take that high concentration of, you know, then, say, the didn’t I say, unable to protest the SMIC world and then born in the Lawrence.
Then who who become who become enlightened? Who become enlightened first? It’s a question of that. That and this person who do think about and the initiation of the didn’t and then the practice, you know, from a Buddhist born in the lower realm. That that, you know, that and then person who didn’t take initiation, high concentration, those might work.
And then, you see, not even Mahāyāna, not even, you know, Mahāyāna, I say, perhaps Mahāyāna taking responsibility, you know, to reach enlightened person and being not in that. Then just just, you know, just thinking this much more simple just for the inner part, you know, that to achieve liberation for oneself. However so even that even that person able to complete the five path to liberation, in Egypt liberation, you see, then then they see because that person Egypt to liberation nirvana, abide in that for some many eons get kind of stuck, you know, what you call in that blissful state of peace for so many eons, inconceivable number of eons. So therefore, so then it said the person who took the in time has some initiation with others, then and they practice in bonding lodging and, you know, finish the finish the experience in the other the length of all that stuff, you say. How long have the suffer, but finish the, you know, finish the karma.
And then, again, then born human born in humanism, meet Dharma. Because because you you met connection in the past, you know, this initiation met connection with the tantra in the past. Suddenly, meet again. Tongue tie teaching, then you practice, then you engage in the past. You know, you enter the past in each of them, each of them.
When this person, another person didn’t, you know, even not in practice Mahanma teaching, then I think if I I do enter in another path and achieve liberation from saṃsāra, then abiding this peaceful state, peaceful so many unquestionable. So this is other person already achieving enlightenment. You know, finished experience karma in the Lord in all that, you know, what the what the time is he. I mean, so finished living then in the past, born human being, mid time the actual part, then she enlightened already. So the research is saying that still that even one didn’t get a practice, but still that’s incredible, which is the advantage to achieving life and career by having that connection to Teng Sha Tsui Mandu was by leaving positive imprint, absolutely positive imprint.
So that causes to meet Tao Te Ching in the future. You see, and practice. So there’s a and also, Lama Desha, one I think two geshes from arguing, so better not take concrete initiation. And because you break all these vows, the on the root, but the the eight heavy ones. Is those, let’s say, like practicing pure appearance, you know, once a day in the place in the so the unable to do them, then you see a a of vices one collect the CBC.
So that so the so the situation is better not better not to, you know, take any any issues like that. So the Lama Desha saying that is it. Ramakrishna is saying that is a blind yuck. That that is, you know, blind yuck eating grass. Blind yuck.
Yuck whose eyes are blind, eating grass. So they cannot see all the grass, you see. Blind yuck. Eyes blind, so so see some, she doesn’t see some. You know?
Blind. Yeah. You know? Eating glass. So so Lama teacher said, even though it’s like this, when you’re unable to practice pure, you know, like that is an example of pure appearance, then we see.
Then vice is like then called in. Like in Mandala Mandala, let me say Mandala, Mandala, way wipe away clean, you see, you put without cover, then minimal dust. As time goes, minimum dust. So but all that dust so many dust, the time goes to cover, but but you can clean all that by one time. So like that, this case is talking about this, is it because not knowing there’s a means of there’s a means of there’s a means of.
Call where even though you, you know, unable to keep those subtle ones, difficult ones, you see unable to keep unable to keep those. Unable to practice, you know, So there’s a and then rainfall. There’s there’s a like those example dust. So the, you know, some dust coverings, you versus, received, but by doing what’s called practice, one time, we can purify everything. So the lama teacher replied, this lama teacher’s point of view, negating the other two cases were thinking.
So like that, so that’s also one, you see, one to think. Then after you have done the retreat, after you have done the retreat, then you can do self initiation in the most powerful. So by having done by having done that one time, that purifies all the all the need, karma, dissonance of all the three level of vows, you know, complete complete completely completely. And then, of course, the original time of the valve, so I’ll trial. So that is is unbelievable advantage, extremely important, unbelievable advantage.
So therefore, it’s good to do if you have received a high standard initiation of data, it’s good to do a retreat, that enabling retreat where you can do it. So the the yeah. Self initiation or these things, you see where there’s incredible benefit, incredible protection of your life. Purify this thing, so then and then that then again, it’s pure and after practice and then that makes it easy to have realization for the past. But if you haven’t done any haven’t done any high standard duty duty, then you can’t do this self initiation, this like a better bomb.
Power to purify all this the. And when you and and this is one of the best thing to do. The one must best thing to practice in everyday life. If not if not everyday, then once a week, if not in a once a month. However, in one year as many as possible.
Self initiation. Of course, there’s a lama giving initiation, of course. I’m not saying self initiation is better than taking mission from growth. I’m not saying that. Of course, when there’s no chance to take initiation from the guru, then you see, you do, you take initiation by yourself.
So that’s when you purify everything and thereby make everything pure. So by doing this, then when you die, even though many need come as many people, when you die, very so the your net commerce very light. So there’s no obstacle. So data does not become difficult for you and become very easy, you know, and because pure land or Haiwa to find perfect human birth to meet virtual and meet virtual and teaching again to practice that. So even say, not possible in every month, in one year as many as possible.
Taking self initiation, if you have done the date is retreat, the inevitable with the five percent end. Ninety. Not just the two digits. Well, time is not important. The time is not a question.
It’s there’s a number of mantras in a human retreat in a to be able to do five pooja, not that you see. So therefore, and every time when we take initiation, every time when you do self initiation, you develop the potential of your mind in a plant seed of a procrastination. And that makes a mind that I think for the two stages. So, however, even you know even you know that you’re going to die today or there’s going to be earthquake or something or bomb or something. Even one know that however, I’d rather whatever disease disease or whatever, you know, that in a way that one is going to actually today, tomorrow, however.
I think the best thing if it is not possible to take initiation from lama, then you take you do you take self initiation. That’s the that’s the best that’s the best thing is advice and the but but the great teachers, the master’s for that. So many practitioners, so they do that. They knew they’re not going leave them, they just do self initiation and then she to say, you prepare by you prepare by yourself for journey to the pure land or the, you know, human birth to clinical practice for that. So so by having taken this this time, by having by having taken initiation this time, so must realize, must should know all these benefit of what I just mentioned, it happened.
Unbelievable purification. It’s incredible protection. Purification happened. The all those the karma’s present past purified, saved from many eons of suffering the Lord Rhythm. So she realized the incredible advantage what you received, say, that have done, that you achieved, then then you intend to really put effort to practice for that.
So I didn’t mention the commitment before. The commitment has maintained the seminal power. Another one is a saddle the So I don’t remember what before what I said, but I think the basic thing with other retreat. So from Lama from Lama’s from poor Western students, Lama started this. Lama thought better give them commitment retreat I see then daily prayer because Rama said, they could not do it and then they feel so sad and happy.
They better give commitment retreat. So that’s how so in the past, from starting from the first time a celebration of the so this was a requested, you know, that’s how it started like that or the or like for example, inventory initiation then some of the things think is a EMA a few times like that you see made a very exceptional progression of that. However, so I teach or can do I can see your mani mantra. We’re having associates who are this man can chant, you know, whatever whatever whatever number one wish, so I can do that or to retreat. Or if one wishes to sat down, I can do that.
Any version of certain whatever one wish, say, can do that. So I like that. So the most important thing the most important thing is that this permits you to learn Tantra path and to maintain Tantra path. They’re taking this incredible advantage of being a drawer. Seeing all these benefits, then putting effort to learn and whatever one can practice, you know, like that.
So so this makes easy to during the course any high sensitivity teachings to be presented. So there’s no danger of break from the the mass side to breaking somewhere, explaining certain things to the who haven’t received the high tongue initiation. Those things then also have the opportunity to practice those secret teachings for that. So unbelievable, I’m really fortunate to be able to to be able to follow such path. There’s so many beings becoming enlightened by practicing Jawajasu, you know, so called, you know, that we from Jirisu to a.
So So I want to say so that it that are taking this time to our destination, it’s become very important preparation for death. So I want to emphasize also that. Very it become very important preparation for death. Our freedom freedom at the time of death, you know, to use to use to use a death as part to achieve enlightenment. However, all that.
So so I’m gonna say, I’ll I’ll run out of words. All the words are finished. So even now you dig, no words. You dig inside, no words left. That’s it.
Okay. So please okay. We do talk. So which aren’t this in English? From a transformation of the great limbless Phonamenato, the Manalaram Yawan Yasuo arises ator of a hundred green limblest full expressions, with from a transformation of the gray, lame, lame, lest, phonam, anato, arises a collection of the five wisdom letters.

Offering the remaining self. Offering the remaining self.
We do the protector prayers now. Now? Yes. So in the volume two, protect the prayers section, page twenty eight, six armed Lord Markala. Page nineteen.
The child front. Page forty seven in the protective press section. Will we start on page fifty? Will we start page fifty? So please submit the request to the medical field, all the groups in medical field, beginning with the.
And there are some changes done. There’s some pair of material. I think composed by I think. So I put there’s some changes, some like additional pairs like that. So the question being that Married field and the the protectors and also the the worldly, those protectors support that explained dharma in the in the house of all those and project will succeed, perceive all the needs and very much beneficial to the major project and to be able to construct as good as possible, you can complete without an obstacle without an obstacle from other religious traditions over there.
To not receive harm. So to to most beneficial also to bring them to in how you got to call? And cause the general of a task for commercial in the hospitals and even to bring them to a lack of risk as quick as possible. And then so which includes also to bring to stop all those war of human disease, all the problems in this world and to bring so much peace and to fill up the whole world with so much peace and happiness, perfect enjoyment with that. So it will cause from this time, but it’s.
And then all the projects building holopters in Tibet, all the projects in Tibet and all the projects there are quite a number of projects in Tibet and this is very important ones as well as making all objectives different parts of the world and for, say, to liberate certain beings. However, social services. The the various building of as well as social service, many spend time to be to be most beneficial, to be most successful. First, license is the most beneficial. Also then also all your all your wishes, success via Dharma practice, and whatever is needed for that for that purpose.
So that is offering to the, yeah, particularly the worldly and there are so worldly, I see. There was the ad groups. Mhmm. They’re often good to present good to present in in in particular, the outer ad groups, inner ad groups, safety ad groups, to all the levels that who are connected with so many things, whether many things. So this tea offering is done for many things before any important activities you do, before you build the houses, anything on the land, that that’s more safe if this deal can be done to them.
So the if disturbance happened, they they can harm the kind of house obstacles for anything, starting projects, even traveling or there are so many things. Sorry. Even the rustful of pujas, as I mentioned. And before that, actually engaging in the rustful action that throwing torma to to send to transfer the consciousness of the evil person in the pure land. So even when the land of the tea the tea offering to these beings are done to not to to spot, to help, to not harm.
Mhmm. So anyway. Yeah. So this could this could be one ideal when there is a tornadoes, those are incredible danger to destroy the whole town. Tornadoes, this, you know, truth about violence very violent, you know, of the elements.
So they are connected with the control. They connect with the elements. So the head making to open the yes. It’s one another method of idea that can be very helpful. Of course, depends on the practitioner as well.
So another idea for those kind of problems. So something very simple like this can stop for all that damage of billions of dollars. So many billions of dollars damage can be stopped. So even knows even knows the methods, even it’s very small, simple prayer. This can prevent so much damage in the country.
That is like United States always happens. Course, taking refuge with the Dharma Sangha is essential. That’s for everything. So it depends on how strong or how serious. Take the life of the dharmasanga, and that can have a bit.
There was one story of a lama. So this this lama and and this is not not just ordinary it’s not just ordinary monk. Something one lama or a great Krishna. So I think he was not familiar with it. And people ask him that he goes that he goes to the people he goes to the people where the person dying or dead didn’t get much experience.
I think it didn’t happen in the past. People ask for they go to where the person is dead, and they, you know, they were asked to pray. So this lama, somebody asked someone a person died and they asked to pray. So this lama didn’t hasn’t didn’t have the experience, you know, going to being a person who died and then praying as he didn’t do before. So so what he did so what he did so what he did is thousands of refuge pair.
I go for the guru. Go the guru. Go to the guru. What what we recite, you know, I’m not sure what you see. So he just did that for he just did that, you know, thousand he did that, say, thousands of malas, you know, in front of that person died.
So it take you know, of course, he may have done from Mary Field, to come and purify the person with karma. You see from Christ from beginning his birth. But prayer just a refuge, very simple thing. You know, I go to Guru Grupadama Sangha. So So because he didn’t have experience before going to some a person died in the during parenting is the first time.
So so as some of this person asked him, he just did the thousands of Mamas for refuge. A letter, this lama asked explained to his guru or somebody, oh, I didn’t know what to do, so I just did the thousands of refuge. And they thought to the guru, the high lama said, this is the best thing. This is the best what you did. So so I hear that you know, I hear sometimes the the Sangha, the you know, the teacher Sanders, didn’t press to say, didn’t know when somebody asked to pray, somebody died.
The prayers didn’t know what to do, what has he done? So actually so act so actually so in so actually, even you even what even what you know is only refuge, not a prayer. Only refuge prayer, you know. If you do that, it’s the bet. If you do that, purify that person in karma, you you take strong refuge to Buddha Dhama Sangha, that person cannot be reborn in large rhythms and to be born purely and or to see perfecting the body.
That’s the very essence. That’s the very essence. Even even you do jangwa, even you do very elaborative pujas or sophisticated pujas. However, the basic thing is a refuge. It’s it’s everything is built on the refuge.
So that’s the main that’s the main that’s the main, you see, that’s the foundation to so you, from a heart, rely on the Dhamma Sangha, you know, then you got to help this person. You see, that’s what is it. Liberate this person. So even what you know is nothing else, just a refuge or just a. Know, they visualize.
And that another image from the. The person needs to come across from the beginning of the birth. You That’s the essence. So much depends on your faith, how much strong refuge you can take, reliance will depend on that. That’s not having a well thought.
So that’s one of the past guru, such as a Guru Puja, this see all this practice that if you do that for that person, that person collects all these memories. If you do that and dedicate for that person, there’s a power within the Lama Chopa. There’s power at the near the end, you see, after the completion stage, there’s a power. Met the one time the great Papanka, the Jingmingbo. He passed away, reincarnated, then became gasey in Baqsa, a little bit.
Then he passed away, took hands, passed away, reincarnated. So with this present reincarnation, they said after we become friends at Ramsarok, Dushida, after his manager passed away, he lived in Ramsarok for a long time. So somehow we became friends and very happy to come to Kushida and to chat or to have two Pujols together. So there so I don’t know what happened. There’s some conversation happened about praying for a dead person.
And he he said, oh, I do lama chappa. He said he said, oh, I do lama chappa. I don’t do another thing. I just do lama chappa when somebody die there. And then the power prayer, this one verse, at the end, I I do this three times.
No. I think he did this three times. So actually, think he does power. But just if you don’t notice, this is Rama Chopra. I think also one old lama from Sailashic, one old lama.
Remember that? When the father, the director of Dushita not not now director, the lawyer was a member of the Dushita Center in Delhi, nourished his wife, twenty Italian lady. Her husband her father died in Delhi died in Delhi, I think, in the hospital. So we went there. They invited me by invited Rantal Rinpoche, this Ulama Hulipinde.
He and the that the lama came together. So then did you just a straight lama chapa. Then they did the power, the last part there. Maybe maybe a bit three times. I don’t remember.
So if you do Lama Chopa, it’s very rich. It’s very rich. It’s like a it’s like a it’s like a let’s say it’s like a no. I wouldn’t say pizza. I wouldn’t maybe maybe I don’t I wouldn’t use the example Peter, but I think it let’s say, you know, say, cream and what else?
Yeah. Cherry and cream and all that. Anyway, so the yeah. Maybe like this. Anyway, so it is a very rich practice, so many things inside.
So, I mean, what else? I mean, what yeah. And that is just, you know, All that is as I read the other beginner of Guru Puja, as I read the other day in the morning. So that, you know, so rich Within this, like the food that which has many, many rich things, so many yum yams, so many yum yams. In the lama shabbat, there’s so many yum yums.
So anyway so like that. So there’s so much what you can do. It’s just that you didn’t somehow didn’t think somehow didn’t didn’t click. Then everyday player, what you do, you can do that for the dead person. Yeah.
This is the top. However, this retreat is not not just not just not just to retreat, you know, the you know, see. Not just repeat it for the not just repeat it, quiet quieten the mind. Quieten q u I e q u I t. That’s correct.
Q u I t. Quieting the mind. It’s not just quieting the mind. I’m not sure there’s such English or not. It’s not just quiet in the mind.
Yeah. It’s also for learning, you know, various ways because we have to help the sentient beings many different ways to learn to learn as many as possible that various ways to benefit of sentient beings. And and especially the center, you know, if you have center, then you can grow people. That’s so many what you can do parts and the resources. So this is, by the way, also to learn as many things.
So that not not that not that I not that I something that I know a lot. It’s not that but just just a few small things, then we see if it’s something that can be helpful to others. So can by knowing that the AIRWARD can you see, you have many methods to help others to benefit others. The organization can be beneficial for something that can make it productive, really useful. Of limitless loving kindness, by the blissful appearance, experiencing from the three visions of death.
May it be your spaceship to make the mother and family. Dear Lord of husband, mister May the Buddhist, big slice of God’s heart in the house of all the significance that which in his method increase. In the house of all the students and the sport all the supporters, those give up their lives, organization, doing their services, they link with them in all their hearts. Would that be a second? The metabolic rate that be generated in the heart of all the leaders of the world.
And made regenerated in the house of all the terrorists or the Mao’s or those people who create so much problem, so much harm without delay the second to make the Buddha to be generally in all in all their hearts. That we have all this opportunity this time. Then this is in daily life. So as a sort of by kind of Krishna Dalai Lama and so long life and all the other wishes be in all the lifetimes we may be the only perfectly qualified mind guru. From each and every side, to be able to see the which is a trend to only enlightened being.
And to be able to do all the action, a most pleasing holy man, virtuous friend from by his living son, Thomas Mossad. And to be able to do all to be able to fulfill the holy wishes of worship plan immediately by by also by one by oneself. So that is to happen in all of his lifetimes. This life in all of his lifetimes. You know the past.
May the may I able to offer limitless kind of benefit to something vintage in Buddha by Lama Jungkaba by having the same quality within me as Lama Jungkaba has from now on in all my future lifetimes? Every and every second, all the time to be able to to be able to Tietamerskov brothers that which exists but doesn’t exist. They don’t exist from their own side. Totally empty. Made I who exist but do not exist from the outside was totally empty.
It’s cheap, tenets, the autosomal enlightenment, which exists but doesn’t exist from its own side, that is totally empty. We lead all the sentient beings who exist, who not exist, but do not exist from their own side, who are totally empty. To that, there is Gaojatsu’s enlightenment which exists but doesn’t exist from its own side. That was totally empty by myself alone who exist but do not exist from the other side who is totally empty. I did all the merits to be able to follow all the one hundred thousand times.
The last blood last blood is named, which we multiply merit one hundred thousand times, but also the blessings of the imminent of the suppers and due to my special attitude and and debate travel dependent arising. May all my pure prayers be succeed immediately. Short as prepared to end to to end the do you see? The the the So I’m just finishing the prayers. If you can leave very quietly.
Tomorrow morning we’ll begin at six and there’s silence until the next session. So everybody come here at six o’clock, and we’ll do the preliminary prayers together. And please keep silence. Tomorrow lunch will be at eleven o’clock.
