About this talk. In this 31-minute closing session of his Heart Sūtra series at Buddha House, Khensur Rinpoche offers a vivid analogy at the heart of the talk: planting seeds in dry earth that lie dormant until rain finally falls and flowers burst up in abundance. He uses this image to explain why consistent Dharma study — even when realizations feel distant — leaves imprints on the mind stream that will ripen swiftly when the future Buddha Maitreya teaches at Bodh Gaya. He then encourages students to join the centre’s basic study program, introduces an incoming translator, and closes with an extended dedication of merit for sentient beings, Tibet, and the spread of the teachings throughout Australia.

As well as whether and also he has helped the center in many ways that during the empowerment, special tantric initiation and so forth, all the setup of the orders and so forth has been happened by the help of Ensign. And also, in the more than two years, Champa had worked for me as the translator and also, yeah, as work for the center, and I say, I thank thank you. So, and also Champa Gendün has worked many years with me and he has worked so hard and well. So should and I request you all to pray for those people, the success for those people in their life. And Champa Yingnan, who will be a new translator in and was my student for a long time ago in India.

And and he has been a monk. He was a monk and had attained complete the numbers of the teachings very good, Tibetan English so forth. And he’s very nice, will be a nice teacher as well. And I had a call from him in the last week and was saying that I would love love to come to Buddha House and also want to serve my guru, Drungyig Ché. And and so the and I said that it’s really good if you have an intention to come down.

So the final result was is that he’s going to come down around late February or sometime in March to work for the center. And Turing hasn’t been long here, but in the time he has spent here with me, he has been very, very helpful and very good. So, you. And then this year at Buddha House we started a basic study program of the FMT, and it was coordinated by the Rob Haddam and this year, this year have been very, and we have been, we succeeded this year and I thank for the, for Rob Haddam and the students who did these basic study programs, and it has been very, very helpful. And I here request the center to maintain the program ongoing.

So, and next year we’re starting the first year of the basic program, and this year will be next year, so it will be two classes. And I would suggest people to, it’s very, very good for any student to join, to do the basic study program, because there is only profit or gain to do such. There is no loss at all. By doing that practice or doing the basic studies, one studies in the Buddhist philosophies, and that will help ones to lead to very good imprints on the mind stream, and which will help one to have very quick realizations in the future life. It is really, really hard to attain realization in this life, by practicing or leading imprints on the mind stream, and in future, then when the Buddha, the future Buddha, Maitreya, turns the wheel of Dharma in the Bodh Gaya in India, then just and he gives us the water and the seed which we have sown in our minds in just gives birth to a sprout, attain realizations very quickly.

The it’s like the It’s like Very, very good. Do you want me to say this? It’s like the dry summer, everything is dry out, very dry, not growing so full. And then later on, the seeds were under the ground or earth, and then suddenly it gives rain and so forth. And I’m not very good at the season.

Anyway, then the rain comes and then the seeds started to grow, give rise to a sprout, and then gradually grows numbers of beautiful flowers and so forth. And you can notice how many difference it makes by different rain. It rains something today which helps to grow a bit longer, and then give the second rain it helps another. So likewise, by leading the sowing a seed on one’s mind stream. In future when the Buddha Maitreya turns the wheel of Dharma and gives the wheel of Dharma, and just by receiving once it helps one to generate a realization.

And each wheel of Dharma will make a different realization, and very, very good. So, depends on the greatness of the imprint or a seed on one’s stream, the greater will attain enlightenment. And then the bodhis become bodhisattva, and then those with wake are liberated. Yeah, so forth. And so this year the study group was coordinated by the Rob Hadam.

And yesterday the Rob Hadam said that the next year, the first year basic study of Dharma will be coordinating the first year, and I was very happy to hear that. Thank you to Joe. Very good. I’m sure we will do very well in the basic study programs that there will be Geshe as well as Champa Yingnan. Oh, yeah.

I don’t think it very much. So as a Tibetan tradition, I shall hear with few lines of the first few lines of the teaching and which symbolized that they left the teachings unfinished. So in future we’ll teach the Heart Sūtra somewhere. So now we have been giving teaching and listening teaching for the last numbers of years. So by doing so we have cultivated numbers of merits and virtues.

So here we should dedicate or we shall here mix all our merit which we have gained in the past years, mix our virtues with the virtues cultivated by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and dedicate all this made for the betterment of for the sentient beings to be free from all the sufferings and attain enlightenment and dedicate for those the great masters who are like His Holiness, Dalai Lama and so forth as well as the students who receive the teachings to dedicate for their long life and dedicate for the spirit of Buddha’s teachings. And did you get all those merit also for the situation of the Tibet? These states, the people who goes through huge numbers of sufferings under Chinese pressure, so make praise and dedicate towards those that Tibet will be same as it was from the beginning. And make prayers that the merit, through the power of our merit. May all these people and the teaching will spread entire Australia, and also the people in Australia will have to be free from all the sufferings and have happiness in particular in people of Adelaide and then particular the Buddha house.

Okay. Page thirty three on this. I’m not sure.
